Calico Jack Restaurant & Bar
After a long day of hiking, Calico Jack restaurant & bar was the best place to stop by.Inside of the restaurant is pretty cool,it felt like we were on the ship, customer service on point. The black pearl burger was amazing, and chips were salty and crunchy! Definitely worth a visit! :)

We were a party of 10 and had a fab time. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, spoilt our birthday girl. Very generous tasty food portions, great value for money. Will definitely be back. Thank you and happy Xmas to the team at CJ.

Absolutely lovely food and staff. Highly recommended and the decor is very pirratical which my son loved. Lovely idea to have snakes and ladders on the back of the kids menu. Not local to the area but would come again without hesitation.

Calico Jack Restaurant & Bar
An unusually good dining experience for me as I have an intolerance to any products from cows which many restaurants have difficulty accommodating. After an initial discussion with our server, the chef/owner came to our table to discuss options. What he produced as a result was outstanding. The service provided, the food and the ambience were excellent making a drop-in meal at a previously unknown restaurant a special experience. Highly recommended!

We booked here as it had space for a table of 10 for a family get together. The food was brilliant and as a group we got something of everything and it all came out quickly and together.I wasn't sure what to expect from seeing the restaurant online but the theming was actually really good and wasn't too much, it's fun but not childish and created a great atmosphere.The servers were attentive of not a little short staffed even though it was quiet. It seemed they had to cover all jobs from the bar, to serving and collecting the food.Even so, it wasn't noticeable.Only slight let down was the lack of beers available, most options were out of stock.There are steps up to the front door and we had a pushchair which wasn't much of a problem but might be if you had a wheelchair unless there is another hidden entrance that we didn't see.

My partner and I ate here twice on a very recent trip to Skipton (august bank holiday weeekend 2023)Both times the staff were amazingly attentive, nothing was too much trouble.The service was quick, the food was hot and delicious (beef taco’s were epic)They also cater excellently for gluten free and are very aware of cross contamination so for me that was a relief.Can’t recommend the place enough just a shame we live too far away to rush back!They remind you of what good food and good customer service should be!Thank you for the experience.

Great staff, were amazing with our little boy. The decor impressed him too he kept finding cool pirate themed decorations and loved it. The food and drinks were also on point. It's a very atmospheric restaurant and makes a fun change from the ordinary. Little on the pricier side but I'd say it was worth it.

We had Our wedding meal at Calico Jack's.The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The staff and management did an awesome job. Friendliest people You can meet in the area.The food was delicious as usual & the price unbeatable too.We're very grateful for what We've got and only can recommend to everyone else!

I've never been here before, and the food was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️For a starter, I ordered tacos for 2. It's very tasty.For the main, i ordered the steak fajitas and was asked how I liked my steak cooking - rare, please. When it arrived, it was not rare. The presentation was really good. Unfortunately, the 3 tiny wraps were far too small for the size of the meal, a real letdown. I ordered an extra 4 but still had loads left. My partner ordered the BBQ Pull Pork. The serving is great, but enough wraps. It was a bit disappointing that there was no real ale today, but there were 4 lagers, an ipa, and 1 cider on tap. The decor based on a pirate ship was nice and nice choice of music. Parking is available outside in the pay and display across the road.
