Rubicon Garden Rooms

The experience with Rubicon started with a visit to their showroom in Shotton, North Wales and we were extremely impressed with the ethics behind the company as well as the products that were on offer. John, being an engineer, was passionate about his company and its Garden Offices. There were several technical questions as I am an engineer and my wife is an account was concerned with the costings.Before we arranged the first appointment with John we had looked around at most of the Garden Offices that were on offer in the UK. They ranged from overgrown sheds to the high standards of Rubicon.The options were quickly narrowed down as we wanted a one stop solution, from the ground up. Many options were cheaper BUT things like base and electrics were all extras and no one supplier would guarantee the work by third party suppliers.Having made the choice to have the Rubicon office it was duly booked for installation. There was the promised on-site visit to discuss the location and fine tune the design.The team arrived on site on the agreed date and started work on the foundations. It was all done with almost military precision with everyone in the team knowing exactly what was needed.Even when the local county planning officer turned up on the second day everything was explained and he left with no doubt that everything was being done in accordance with all planning rules.It was the little things that were obviously well planned and the materials used were all of a high specification with explanations of why very expensive screws are used as they will never rust or break. There was continuous use of spirit levels to ensure everything was square and fitted precisely. We were really impressed at the time and effort that was spent on the roof material installation.When the building was completed there were a couple of snags that were rectified by the next day. One issue with a door lock failure was dealt with very quickly and the wrong interior lights were not daylight bulbs….sorted and now we are so pleased with the final room that we show it off to everyone that pops in for a visit.From the first visit to the final day there was attention to detail and the whole office from the ground up is guaranteed by Rubicon which give peace of mind is any problems occur. This is great value for money with the exceptional quality of materials and workmanship and we have recommended Rubicon to several people who have seen the office.

From our first visit to the showroom to completion John and the team at Rubicon were professional, helpful and a joy to deal with. We went through all of the details together, we were then presented with a plan of action and contract and every stage was achieved on time. The quality of workmanship was superb and the office was built from the ground up and is not a pre fabricated building put together on site. The team turned up and worked hard all the way through, sometimes in the most awful weather, yet they achieved everything they needed on a daily basis, turned up when they said they would and completed the project on time with a smile.We would highly recommend Rubicon for anyone thinking of having a garden office. They are the experts, it is what they do and they do it brilliantly.We are very proud of our office and we would be delighted to show anyone around that would like to see one in the flesh"."

We are delighted with our Garden Room which will serve as my craft/sewing room. The service from the Rubicon Team was excellent. John and Rob were always reachable if we needed them, and the construction Team worked cheerfully and efficiently, sometimes in very difficult weather conditions. When, after completion, a slight fault was found with the water butt, someone came straight away to fix it. Definitaley 5 star service throughout.

What can we say, this whole experience was amazing !John & Rob were so knowledgeable on our first visit to the showroom and really listened to what we required.From then on the communication was first class.Three weeks from start to finish and the whole team were impeccably dressed in uniform, punctual, polite and tidied up each day so that it looked as if they hadn’t been ! Quite remarkable !The quality, attention to detail and finish of our garden room is truly amazing and it has been used right through the winter due to the insulation being exceptional !If you are pondering whether to go ahead don’t think twice - these guys are absolutely fantastic ! We had a garden office installed at the end of 2021. The service throughout was fantastic from start to finish. The team who installed it are a testament to the company. They worked tirelessly the whole time and were extremely professional and polite.There was an issue with connecting the Internet but they quickly sent out the electrician to resolve it and I was up and running. How a company deals with issues is always a big reflection of them and they passed with flying colours.The insulation is fantastic. We are in the middle of a heatwave and the room has been great to be in.I would thoroughly recommend the company and the product. Fantastic work from everyone involved.

From the moment we visited Rubicon's showroom, where we met John, the whole experience has been easy, of a high quality and project managed superbly. We ordered a 5.4m Garden Office with 400mm canopy. The lead time was about six months but we were happy to wait. John attended the site visit and was very friendly, answered all our questions and explained the different options. The build started on time and we were quoted 2-3 weeks for the build and they came in just under two weeks. The site team managed by Martin were a pleasure to deal with, all the guys on site were polite, professional and answered any questions we had. They also adhered to all social distancing guidelines and Covid safety guidance. The communication was very efficient from John, who project managed everything and the stage payments in the contract are easy to understand and follow. They left the site clean and tidy and all work has been completed to a very high standard. We would have no hesitation in recommending Rubicon Garden Rooms . Our family simply love our Garden Room installed by the Rubicon team in late 2021. We had a toilet and shower installed too. It was a lot of work but John was very patient and handled all our needs very attentively. The team on site were excellent too and did a wonderful and professional job. We have now no doubt improved the quality of our life - we use the Garden Room everyday for work, kid's play room and chill out room too:) We are so happy. Compliments again to John and his team :)

We did a lot of research about garden rooms and looked at a good amount as it is by no means a small investment. Having visited looked at the quality of the construction and spoken to John who’s knowledge and enthusiasm was a breath of fresh air. We had no hesitation about placing our order and eagerly awaited our delivery. We were kept informed at all stages as to start date.Then the big day, well the whole of the job went like a military well oiled machine. The guys worked as a team and it was a pleasure to have them here. The attention to detail quality of materials and skill was outstanding. Every one wanted to ensure that we were happy with the work.The finished result exceeded our expectations and to say we are happy with it would be an understatement. Would we recommend rubicon you bet l would ! But don’t just take my word for it look for yourself l don’t think you will be disappointed.

We had a Rubicon Garden room built in January 2022, it took them 3 days from the ground up to finished. ( plastering and electrics took a further week) It was amazing to watch their very professional and skilled work force and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We would recommend Rubicon to anyone thinking of purchasing a garden room / office . From the very first time of contact to the last day of completing of our summer house , the level of customer service has been 100% , their team of tradesmen take so much pride in their work to make sure that you are happy , it was also nice to see workmen enjoying their jobs , materials used are of good quality and the attention to detail is outstanding. We have also been made to feel very comfortable if there is any need to go back to them in the future.
