Heritage of Gloucester Volkswagen

Thank you to Tia who was so accommodating and an all round lovely person to deal with. Very thorough and I had a far better experience with Heritage Glos than my previous dealership.

Not a good experience with our car service earlier this month!The location of Heritage of Gloucester Volkswagen is inconvenient for people requiring their car serviced.The car was brought in for service early in the morning, and I called at 3pm on the day to check if the car was ready to be collected. After I had waited on the phone for 10 minutes the lady at the switchboard said no one in the services dept picked up the phone. Then someone called back 10 minutes later and said that your car service will be done by 5pm. Her attitude was not friendly.No one called, and my husband arrived 5:05pm to collect the car but he had to wait a further 15 minutes to get the car. The front of house service was not helpful, although we were happy that the car was cleaned well.

Terrible experience with the representative. I visited Cheltenham the following day as so unimpressed with the staff at Gloucester.A very unfriendly atmosphere on arrival and then was frowned on during speaking to the representative. Will never visit again.

Each time I drop in on Aaron at Gloucester VW he always has time (even though I know he is busy) he is positioned right in the middle of the doorway so first desk (possibly even before reception!!) so exposed, but he handles himself so well. Anyway Aaron is a credit to the business and VW brand. Good work.

Really really FRUSTRATING !My ID.4 went in for 1st service (~20Kmiles) early April. Was told it would need 2 days to include major software update - fine. They phoned on 2nd day to collect car but had been unable to do anything. So re-booked , earliest available following month....Took car in which then took 9 days....After 2 days car warning message Electric drive not working correctly. Please visit workshop" When called in with this issue it was not a known fault/issue and booked back in under warranty - again nearly 1 month earliest date.Took car in on Thu and was advised would be needing 2 days - OK.On the following Tuesday I rang to enquire but they had to leave message for available service member to call me back but no phone call. Phoned in on the next day and was told " car is ready to pick-up" - Great I thought. Arrived later to collect and then was told "Very sorry but car is not ready and needs to go to the Battery Centre for remedial to 1 cell". 2 days later it is still apparently waiting to be taken to the Battery Centre with no confirmation when it will be taken to the Battery Centre (wherever that is ?) and so obviously no sight of when I will get my car back.And now I received email "You have been selected by Heritage Volkswagen to receive exclusive upgrade options on your current Volkswagen Id4." ... and I haven't even got my ID.4 ............... Arghhhh !!Hope I get it back before July."

I test drove a T Cross a few days ago at another garage so came to look to see if they had any here today. Wasn’t expecting to purchase one right away but Ben Glover sold it to me.Incredible service and Ben you had myself, my partner and my friend smiling and laughing with your fab personality. Not to mention, the man knows how to pick a tie!Thank you so much x

Absolute joke. Long story short - car was there twice. still not fixed. They ignoring my emails (even the manager). For us this was a new garage as we changed cars, but honestly if you want your car to be fixed DO NOT GO THERE. Absolutely shocking service. Unfortunately for us it means car not fixed and need to look for a new garage. Ohh by the way there is such a long queues for appointments, especially with courtesy cars - 6 weeks (joke) that you may as well try your luck in different garage. AVOID AVOID AVOID....

I have been looking for a car for over 6 months and haven’t felt positive with anywhere I have been or anyone I have spoken to until going to Volkswagen. Aaron Woolford was amazing! I cannot fault him. He has given me regular updates about my car, made sure I understood all of my options and was so helpful in the whole process, he was an amazing salesman. As a young girl I have always worried that people will take all the money they can get from me when buying a car, but I felt like I could trust Aaron and was over the moon with the deal we made. Thank you so so much!
