Chirk Castle Car Park
Large free car park at base of castle mound. Close to ticket and admissions building. Children's play area nearby. There is a short wooded walk up to the castle itself but there is a handy free bus shuttle service that operates from the car park and takes you up to the castle entrance. This is handy if you arrive shortly before last admissions as it whizzes you up there pronto.

Good car park, well signposted, easy to park and nothing to pay even if you are not National Trust members. No car park stewards present when we visited.
