K9Dreamers Dog Training and Behaviour

Recently I’ve attended both classes and 1:1 with Jill shadowing for experience with canines ahead of my masters. Jill is lovely and welcoming with plenty of knowledge and experience to help everyone from puppies to advanced dogs. She had a kind approach especially to those who are new to classes. I have learnt a lot in the recent weeks and have enjoyed seeing all dogs progress

Jill has been amazing in helping us train our puppy, Nell. She is patient, knowledgable and friendly and we really look forward to attending our weekly group with her. Jill has made the whole experience of having a puppy for the first time a lot less daunting for us and for that we are incredibly grateful.

Our very bouncy young pup seemed to ignore all our attempts to train him until we met Jill . Her confidence and knowledge of dog training not only impressed us but had a marked and immediate effect on our pup . Many thanks to you Jill !

My Labrador (Hugo) and I love going along to the K9dreamers classes. Jill makes the sessions practical, engaging, educational and informative. Despite Hugo being a playful puppy, he has really progressed since attending the classes and it has helped give me and him discipline and structure towards his development. Jill’s classes have been a fantastic contribution over the last few months and I would highly recommend them.

Jill devised some 1:1 training sessions for my lively Ridgeback puppy. In the first session some key points for development were identified and we concentrated on these.Jill provides perceptive and useful feedback on our progress during the sessions and follows this with a clear, written.summary and further guidance for our continuing development. This written feedback is very helpful, you are able to consider it carefully after the session.Jill creates a calm, very supportive atmosphere which is really encouraging.We are finding the sessions extremely useful and I highly recommend Jill, she is a highly professional trainer.

Jill from K9 Dreamers is absolutely amazing! I'd never had a dog (let alone a puppy) before - but Jill has been brilliant so far. I definitely recommend the pre-puppy 1:1 sessions - they have been worth their weight in gold and have highlighted SO many things that I hadn't even considered before the arrival of pup! Lyra and I are working with Jill right now. Our 121 session was full of wonderful advice, guidance and an abundance of exercises, all written down, for us to work on together to ensure we achieve my aim: to have a well behaved, calm and happy dog.I would happily recommend Jill as she has so much personal experience and knowledge gained over a period of time, and as a behaviourist she is able to give you insight into why your dog is behaving as she is, and then provides the how, for you to adjust, should you need to.

Jill provided a very helpful and informative 1-to-1 session with us and our puppy. We learnt a lot about reading him and recognising his emotions, as well as new training techniques which we have been trying out and we've seen impressive results already!We're now also booked on for a puppy training course with Jill and we're really looking forward to it.

I couldn't recommend Jill enough, she's been so kind and helpful in getting us started with our puppy.The 1:1 session we had with her was so beneficial, it really helped us work out what we needed to focus on and gave us some really good tips on getting started. So far we have attended 1 of the puppy classes as well, and we are really excited to continue working with her! Jill is a fantastic trainer! I have a background in animal behaviour so I spent a really long time researching which trainer I would like to take my puppy to as I can do a lot of training myself, but I think it's important to have outside input as it gives you a different perspective (particularly when the puppy is not doing what you think it should!). This is where Jill excels as she is extremely knowledgeable about dog training but also has a growth mindset so she is always learning more from different trainers and techniques so she can bring the best knowledge to class. We've had some fascinating conversations about dog training and my puppy loves her classes and Jill. I cannot recommend Jill enough - whether you are a dog training nerd like me or just want a happy well-behaved puppy!
