Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Congleton

Poor service , as a courtesy van off my insurance company enterprise said they wouldn’t allow dogs in the van , even when I said I would only use it for transport and not put dogs in they still refused to give me a van after a third call from my insurance! Utterly appalling service and they never returned calls ..I’m not sure why dogs are not allowed is I’m sure builders use their vans which would create far more mess

Terrible Customer Service with staff that don't call back.My Audi broke down and as part of my Audi assist, I can request a hire car which is contracted out to Enterprise.Thursday am car was requested.Didn't have any suitable car so said would call me back later that day with an update.No call - so called back the next day.Sorry no update will call you back tomorrow.No call - chased again.We are now approaching a week later and still no car in sight.I get my actual car back tomorrow...... Thanks for nothing..

I was misled from the start, I was told that if my own car was written off I would have the hire car until 7 days after settlement. My car was written off and before the money was settled I was told that the insurance company had said to return the hire car the same day leaving me with no vehicle, the insurance company said that they had said no such thing and that the hire charge would be charged to the third party insurance. I rushed to return the car with the promise of a lift home but of course that wasn't true either, a twenty pound taxi ride later I got home. Extremely unprofessional, avoid.Carl Smith

I have been promised a call back from an area manager 4 days ago and still not received a call. Money has been taken from my account due to parking fine admin fees, which should not be happening. I would avoid hiring from this company.

No problem with collecting me at my house nor taking me home again. Timely and friendly Next impression -poor ! The car I had hired , a 5 door hatch back with folding seats ( to enable me to store my sister's wheel chair in London ) did NOT fold down completely -useless. The manager quickly replaced this with an estate with a large boot . The addition for the weekend was reasonable.

Hired a van this week for a day to move a friend. So easy and straight forward from ordering, pickup and drop back off the vans are clean and spacious.Staff are so helpful and efficient, Jess is really polite and friendly…thankyou so much I will definitely recommend and use again.

The shambles that is enterprise congleton strikes again. Numerous times we give them a chance and every time they mess something up.Today we had made a pre booked reservation through a ‘trainee’ Alex, he took the payment prior so on the day the driver just had to collect and go.So the day we booked the van arrives and ‘Sam’ the assistant manager requests the driving license of who made the booking, even though if this is needed it could of been completed prior with Alex.Instead of recognizing Alex’s mistake, Sam proceeded to be unprofessional and uncooperative to the point he then refused to rent the van to us.After speaking to head office, they agree the process wasn’t carried professionally, and if the driving license wasn’t available the previous booking could of been cancelled and re done with the present driver.Won’t give this company any more chances after seriously messing up our day.Looking at the reviews a lot of local people feel the same way.

We picked up a courtesy car on 4th October whilst my car was in for accident repair, the staff were all extremely polite and helpful, thank you to Jayne, Wayne & Megan, nothing was too much for them to help & answer any questions..highly recommendJune Sherratt
