Clean, spacious with friendly informative staff. Wait time on the phones was a bit long but then it was a teatime on friday! Highly recommended if you're in the market for a new or used car.

Did not fix the issue. Did not stamp service book. Did not leave key with sales as requested. Blocked van in, so difficult to recover for work. Zero communication.Think it was forgottenUPDATE: I forgot to mention previously that they had the van for an entire week on the 2nd visit. anyway, I had the van in again to resolve the issue (3rd time lucky). Firstly, the hire van was 'missing'. Fortunately they had an E-transit which I assume was a sales demo vehicle - which they claw back point for. Next, I was told that every vehicle runs out of air-con gas after 2 years (I'll let you, the reader, decide if that's true or not) and was forced to pay for a re-gas on a nearly new van. I was told it would cost £200 on a previous visit, quoted £350 on another, but charged £80 so I guess they just make the prices up. The service book also wasn't stamped again despite asking when dropping the van off, but luckily this time I ran back in to get it done. There is also constant sales pitches, trying to offer a service plan - despite not opting into marketing emails. They did kindly do a tyre check on 4 clearly newish tyres - including one changed 5 days ago; And noticed an orange headlight light, that they didn't notice 3 weeks ago when I had the service and MOT. Remember, this is them trying their best effort to appease a customer that they let down - imagine how bad they are the rest of the time.Lastly, I've just noticed that an intermittent door issue I had fixed a few weeks ago is back again; Quite frankly I don't really trust them to try again - but look out for an update on visit number 4 which I'll also put on Trustpilot.Needless to say, I won't be buying the service plan.

Prior to my service they repaired a panel under the car on the spot for no charge. 5 stars. During the service they sent me a video showing and explaining the details of the inspection. 5 stars. However I reported an annoying squeak when driving slowly assuming my pads were wearing thin, turns out my pads were fine (as per the video) and it was likely to be brake dust or lack of grease in the nipples. They said they resolved the issue and they did during my drive home. The next day it's back and now I've likely got to pay for an investigation charge and being so close to Xmas my priorities are elsewhere right now so I'm having to put up with an annoying squeak when driving slowly around the Orbital carpark. I'd like to give 4.5 stars because this is only a minor issue but ity won't let me, I can't give 5 so I'm afraid it has to be 4 (but really it's 4.5).

Had the pleasure of buying my first brand new car at Allen Ford Swindon. The whole process was easy and enjoyable no pressure whatsoever by pushy salesman the staff were very polite and knowledgeable to the questions I asked , even going through the paperwork side of things was easy. Would definitely recommend Allen Ford to anyone.

Good, reliable service from Dave in the sales team. First class throughout and was very punctual yon dealing with all queries and sorting all paperwork. Was always on hand for any questions either via phone or email.Have used Allen Ford Swindon for many years now and will continue to do so moving forward as have never had any issues what so ever.Highly recommend and wouldn’t think of ever going anywhere else. Top service and 5 stars all the way!!

Hopeless. Stay clear. Admin staff fobbed me off, stalled me and generally declined to treat me with integrity and honesty.This is a very brief explanation of a very drawn out affair...Ford UK informed me by letter that I needed recall work done on my van - timing belt inspection and possible replacement. I booked into Allen Ford Swindon who inspected the belt and deemed replacement necessary, and said they'd let me know at a later date when the work would be scheduled and completed.Months later I went in - in person - to find out what was going on - issues at Ford they said, no parts they said. I believed them. Months later I still heard nothing. I tried online chat - they failed to reply. I went in again, same story - showed me a stack of paperwork to illustrate the number of people in the same boat. They told me I'd be put to the top of the list (right!). Still no scheduled date - guess-timated approximate timeframe moved out again, and passed again - seemed to me that a scheduled date should have been easy to predict even if I wasn't going to like it. Tried email. I replied to their emails about MOT being due. No response. I phoned and got the call centre. Call centre would not put me through to dealership staff despite me asking directly - clearly they were using the call centre as a useful shield to hide behind. Dealership staff never replied to my questions placed with the call centre despite the call centre person telling me I would get a reply via a call back from the Swindon office. During my last in-person visit I heard from them that Ford UK were not going to provide replacement engines were belts had failed due to the long wait if a full service history couldn't be proven - i.e. not completed with the dealership.Since it was getting on for a year from the initial inspection, with over 100K on the clock now (and with forum posts listing belts breaking at 60K!) I took my van off the road, my only vehicle! I couldn't risk £7K or £8K on my wallet and the wait for a new engine. I had to use a hire car service for critical journeys.I approached Ford UK directly to find out what was happening about parts and engine replacement cover. They responded quickly; they said that there had been initial problems with supply but these were resolved. They said that if the belt breaks they would cover a replacement engine. And they suggested I move to another dealership. They were very helpful and prompt. I did approach another dealership. The difference was night and day. Trowbridge Ford said that sorting the timing belt before it broke was better for everyone than replacing an engine. The job was scheduled and completed to plan within a week and half.I never got a date for the work from Allen Ford or anything written to explain the situation or to keep me informed at all. The only communication I got was verbal from staff when I placed myself in front of their desk and feel I was, politely, fobbed off and told anything to shut me up and get rid of me - there was nothing to be done, I just had to wait according to them. I was still getting auto emails from Allen Ford in Swindon about doing regular service and MOT - no chance. I'd rather drive to a dealership an hour away then use them as my local dealership. Still nothing in writing and no date.The whole saga reinforces my dislike of dealerships in broad terms, despite the excellent and prompt action at Trowbridge. I will only use a dealership when I have no other choice and I'll go back to Trowbridge - while I still own this Ford van. I've had work done at Allen Ford before and I can't fault or complain about the work done by the mechanics so it's a real shame that admin staff so seriously let the side down. Allen Ford in Swindon; never again for me.(It irks me to have to give even 1 star in order to post this review.)
