Nina Carrington

I had a portrait done by Nina in October of this year and am so pleased with the results!I approached her after seeing her gorgeous portraits on Instagram.I must admit I was a little nervous about the prospect of posing for the camera(!), but Nina made me feel so comfortable.Nina came up with some creative ideas prior to the shoot. The mood and expression that she captured were spot-on and exactly what I wanted.The quality of the finished product was of a very high standard and I've had many compliments! I've since recommended Nina to friends requiring head shots and to designers needing photographs of their lovely room interiors.

Having come across some of Nina's photos, I decided to entrust her with the realisation of photos to showcase some of my jewellery. I was absolutely delighted with the stunning results. Nina produced a wonderful set of images of one of my clients - a gunsmith who has recently set up a new workshop in East Kent, and needed shots showing him at work for a new website and to use to get local press coverage.Nina worked with us at Attitude Communications (based in Kent, UK) to create a mood board so we could plan the shoot and define a clear brief. Despite the world of gunsmiths, shotguns and clay shooting being new to Nina, she was full of ideas and had clearly done lots of research. The prep certainly paid off because the resulting images are exactly what we wanted, if not even better!Our client admitted to being nervous about the shoot, but Nina put him at ease and got the best from him. Being a great commercial photographer is more than being a good photographer, it is also being able to deliver on a brief and that is what you get when you engage Nina - I happily recommend her.

Nina is a remarkable photographer. She researches her projects thoroughly to make sure that each subject is treated respectfully. In my case, Nina came to Zambia to photograph Our Moon and our students. Each of her consequent photos tells a story not only of the person in the photograph, but of the surroundings, the country, and life at our learning centre for our students, staff and workers. For instance, the photograph of one of our maids doing the washing, shows the beautiful countryside, the wonderful colours of our landscape and of her chitenge (wrapper), but also the harsh realities of having to hand wash everything including all the bedding - washing machines are a luxury most people living in rural Zambia can't even imagine. Nina's portraits draw the emotions out of everybody she photographed - each image gives a window into their souls. I am so grateful to Nina for taking these photographs and for the enthusiasm she showed for our project. I would wholeheartedly recommend her services if you want to have a unique photographic perspective on your subject.

Meeting Nina in the business realm of Networking in Stilettos has also become a growing friendship. I admire her professionalism, her patience and attention to detail. There are not enough words to express on how amazing I felt during my photoshoot, as she snapped away guiding me to that perfect angle and capturing my expressions.
