My husband and I got married at Merriscourt in July and the only way I can describe it is absolutely PERFECT! Words cannot do it justice. The whole team are incredible and nothing is too much, they do everything to ensure your day is exactly how you want it and everything goes smoothly which took a lot of stress off our shoulders. The venue is stunning and there are so many special touches. The accommodation is such a bonus and is all absolutely gorgeous with roomy, lovely decorated rooms. The food was Michelin star quality and our guests are still raving about it now! We had cocktails for our drinks reception which were delicious and the canapés were so yummy. Eva and Emily were incredible throughout the whole process and Georgie, Artur and all of the Merriscourt staff were absolute stars for the whole weekend! Even the rain didn’t stop us having a perfect day.

Booking Merriscourt for our wedding was the best decision we could have made! Not only is the venue stunning (we fell in love with the stone barn the moment we saw it!), but the whole experience - from our first visit to the big day itself - exceeded all expectations.The team there are incredible and supported us every step of the way, with excellent communication and advice from the start. We always felt like we were in very safe hands! A special shout out to Eva who did such a fantastic job managing the day itself. She was such a warm and reassuring person to have around and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The service on the day was immaculate and everything ran like clockwork.The food was incredible! We went for a sharing menu and had a lot of fun choosing what to include (we were even able to include some tailor-made choices). It was the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding and several of our guests have said the same to me. Everyone went home very well fed!The accommodation was gorgeous and it was so special to be able to stay there the night before with our family and bridal party.We really did have the perfect day and cannot recommend Merriscourt enough!

We always thought from the start we would like to have Merriscourt as our wedding reception venue but after meeting with the team (Emily and Eva) and going to a viewing we knew we had to do it. The team are so responsive, understanding and really helpful. The venue itself is just gorgeous yet still manages to feel relaxed and understated. It goes without saying that the food and accommodation on offer is also just the best! Thank you so much again x

We had our December wedding at Merriscourt this year. It was absolutely incredible in every way. The venue was stunning, the attention to detail by the staff was exceptional, and the food was amazing. Lots of our guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Eva was so brilliant for the whole wedding weekend, she seemed to really care about how the wedding went for us and she worked so hard to make it perfect. The location was perfect for us, and the on site accommodation was cosy and wonderfully styled to feel like a country retreat. The brunch in the Gallery room the following day was amazing, so much food and all beautifully presented again. Well worth it if you are staying overnight. The venue was definitely the dream Cotswolds venue! We would definitely recommend if you want a beautiful wedding day that flows like clock work with staff who really care how your day goes and make you and your guests feel both special and relaxed!

From the first time we looked round Merriscourt we knew it would be the perfect place for us to get married. The venue is absolutely stunning with the prefect space for rain or shine and the lit up tree makes for great photos in the evening. Luckily we had gorgeous weather meaning we could make the most of the stunning Cotswold views on the drinks lawn for our wedding photos too!The on site accommodation is a huge bonus and a large reason we chose the venue. The cottages are so spacious and sleep so many people it meant we could have a full wedding weekend celebration with all of our close friends and family. Having a relaxed Sunday brunch the morning after was a perfect way to end a weekend and reminisce about the wedding day itself and there was no rush to leave with the team allowing us to extend our check out time until the afternoon.Lexi and Milly are amazing organisers and really help make sure you have the most amazing day. They were both so welcoming and happy to assist with any wedding prep or advice before the day. Our day ran so smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for the team or Lexi. We had the sharing boards and the food was incredible with so much on offer too. All of our guests commented on how seamless the service was and how efficient the staff were.Overall we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day and we are so so happy we chose Merriscourt for our special day. Thank you so much and we would definitely recommend it as a Cotswold wedding venue for anyone!

We got married at Merriscourt in September 2023 - it has taken us a while to write this review as we wanted to try and do it justice!Service pre-wedding - ever since our first visit, we were really impressed with the service from the team - big shout out to Emily and Eva who are both wonderful at their job, and really care about ensuring you have the best experience possible. No question was too small, they responded quickly to all our emails, and were happy to have as many planning meetings as we wanted, which really put our minds at ease. The whole planning process was so smooth we were able to relax in the run up to the big day in the knowledge that Merriscourt were on top of everything.Food - Many reviews mention the quality and presentation of the food at Merrsicourt, and we are pleased to report that it really did live up to our expectations. Everything, from the canapes to the chocolate fondants, looked and tasted incredible (and portions were generous!). Those with allergies / dietary requirements were provided with equally tasty alternatives that certainly didn't feel like an afterthought. We were able to tailor the food to our tastes, working with the Chef and catering team to develop a menu that was absolutely perfect - many of the guests have since told us how much they enjoyed the food!Venue - The pictures of Merriscourt speak for themselves, it is a beautiful venue, but what set it apart from many of the other Cotswold wedding venues we saw were the many unique spaces that were available. Unlike many venues, the ceremony and reception take place in different barns, and we loved the quirky Gallery - perfect for relaxing/drinks reception, and the Courtyard with the iconic tree lit up at night, and firepits to keep people sat outside warm. The surrounding grounds are stunning - we were lucky enough to get a glorious sunset which was a real highlight!Accommodation - The luxurious cottages had everything we needed and are a real benefit compared to other venues, and meant we could have all our immediate family stay onsite.Wedding Day - The service on the day was impeccable, thanks the whole team, who were cheery from morning until midnight. Many of our guests complimented how attentive the serving staff were. A stunning cotswolds venue with a spacious courtyard for entertaining guests (an ideal spot for some relaxing live music). The two main function rooms open into the courtyard so it's easy to make full use of the space at the venue. The traditional country decor inside is complimented by the beautiful variety of plants flowers outside, some of which are used in the delicious food served on site. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful wedding our daughter and son in law had at Merriscourt on December 9th. The venue, staff, food, accommodation, setting and experience were faultless. Eva was our event manager whose hard work and professionalism made the whole weekend so special. We would thoroughly recommend a winter wedding at this magical place.

The staff here are superb and do everything to ensure the wedding was a joy to attend.The accommodation is excellent, so clean and everything you need is available.On the day the food and drinks were fantastic, the staff were always smiling.
