What a fantastic shop; a proper ironmongers/ hardware shop. Helpful and friendly staff. I found everything I needed and didn't have to buy a large pack of something like you have to in large DIY stores. I was able to by just one of an item where required.

This shop is simply tremendous. If it's something you need to keep your guesthouse going or an item you need for your holiday let, then Musgrave's is the Mecca for that half inch washer, bag of lawn seed or a new ironing board! The shop is a labyrinth of merchandise and what about the staff? They're probably the best in the World. Did I mention I work there?

Handy place in Windermere, good little shop, shopped there many times, most of the staff are pleasant but the older gentleman behind the screen was very rude and miserable, no hello, no smile, no words, he saw me pull out cash to pay for my goods and it was like I was giving him poison to drink..., tapping his fingers on the counter top for me to put the cash down, not a word spoken, If you are not happy to take cash, please say so and I would have happily paid by card, no issues.He pumped loads of hand gel for his own use before taking my cash, very good but I would have expected some sanitizer for customers to use as well at the till point and at both entry points, people do touch things and not always buy especially in a hardware store like Musgraves, a little courtesy goes a long way.

Very helpful young man called Peter, helped me find the correct size brackets I required.

Musgraves stock most home and DIY necessities and they mix paint. They don't cut keys.If they stock what you want, it will be so close to the on-line price as to make an immediate purchase, in the shop, a no-brainer decision, as they say.

Love this shop, usually has all the basic DIY materials and tools plus lots of other interesting household goods. Bonus they are very dog friendly! We use Musgaraves a lot.

Brilliant shop selling all kinds of DIY and homeware. However in my recent experiences of buying here the staff are quite curt and some just plain rude. I was made to feel awful just because I wanted to pay cash for something recently so wont be going back unfortunately.

Perfect for DIY and pro hardware. Always seem to find what I need for general home DIY and the staff are perfect. Prices are very good and I've often seen items cheaper than the massive DIY stores in kendal.
