LOVE this gym! Huge amount of classes! It is always so so clean! I used to find the weight area intimating but it’s such a friendly environment now! I really love the fact I can bring a friend for free on a Friday and I can get a free coffee in the morning and have my daily chat with the lovely staff behind reception. I can’t wait to try the new classes in the newly refurbished area! If you are looking for a gym with a friendly feel I would 100% recommend The Park Club. Keep up the good work park club

Helpful staff, great facilities. Changing rooms are very clean. Good lockers, lots of space in gym and changing rooms. Only 10 people per exercise class so not crowded. All teachers and trainers are approachable and friendly. Usually lots of parking but can get busy when there are popular classes back to back. Free straighteners and hairdryers available. Opens early so easy to fit in a gym session before work.

Very impressive gym. I needed assistance whilst doing an induction and I found Aiden to be very helpful, professional and gave some really good tips for my training. Highly recommend.

Pretty expensive for what it is tbh. During peak there are never really enough squat racks and benches as classes are usually going on. If classes were scheduled early in the morning before work or in the later evening other members could actually use the facilities. Some PTs and CrossFitters don’t have any social awareness and can take up a lot of room limiting the space and music is unbearably loud and obnoxious. Could definitely benefit from also having women’s changing rooms for those who don’t feel comfortable changing around others. Lack of air-con/fans which in summer is horrible because you feel like you’re gonna pass out.Equipment seems pretty up-to-date but improvements definitely need to be looked into especially for close to £50 per month.

Hugely disappointed in this gym. I have been a member on and off for 10 years and I am disgusted at how this gym has changed under current management since COVID.Over 50 members have recently complained and been ignored.Park Club removed a much loved service with zero consultation with members over changes made to the club (despite an email promising a member forum). There is huge staff turn over and the manager is the worst I have ever come across in any establishment let alone a gym. He is rude, ignores emails and calls and is an absolute coward that hides behind poor young staff on reception- apparently he thinks it’s ok for (the very lovely) receptionist staff to deal with issues he has created.Would not recommend this place unless you want poor service and zero communication from anyone in the back office or management. Also, if you are providing baby classes for swimming more than 2 baby change units is surely needed??? Expecting people to change a new born baby on a dirty floor (cleanliness in the pool is awful as standard) is disgusting.Overall this is an awful place and an absolute disgraceful addition to MEPC.

Brilliant facilities and the staff are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. An excellent place for beginners or season pros.

Been part of The Park Club for over 6 years. I have watched a high turn over of staff, watched good, knowledgeable staff be ousted out of the business. Over 50 members wrote to The Park Club and their letter was not responded too or even listened. The members asked for a meeting with the manager Chris, but they did not get a meeting to talk about any concerns/improvements, in fact they were ignored totally. The senior management team, discussed with other members in the gym what was happening. The members when cancelled their membership also got threatening letters saying they were going to go to a debt collector. A few members went into the manager to see him, but he would not meet with them, in fact he let his staff who are on a lower pay deal with this on his behalf. They have blocked many members from their social media sites, concerned that they will write something bad about them. A community was not listened too, it was dismissed. In fact The Park Club failed a small business, including coaches that were not paid by them. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a charity organisation with no compassion, empathy to close down a community of over 100 members

This gym has changed significantly in the last few years. I was a member of the gym, then became a member of The Athlete Centre which was fantastic as well as carrying on with a member of the park club. In the park club there was never ever anyone around to help you, so if I was to go into the weights room I was expected to know what I was doing. The management is really poor there were a number of times where I had to query my membership, I never got any answer and i had to ask a few times to speak to the manager. The manager never ever answered my emails but sent out someone else to speak to me. Other areas in the gym like the Athlete Centre, The Physio were good. But if I am honest if you don't care about being looked after go here if you are looking for a community gym this is not the place for you.
