Our guide, Davie, welcomes you with warm hospitality and regals you with good-hearted jokes interwoven with historical stories throughout the trip. Our full-day (~12-13hrs) Scottish Highland tour went beyond expectations! You start off with coffee or tea with Scottish cookies to enjoy as you head off north, this is followed by a wellpaced tour of Sterling Castle, the Klepies, Glencoe, Loch Ness, miles of amazing Highland scenery, whiskey ice cream pitstop, and capping off your tour with enjoying a small scotch by the Commando monument. Davie made my tour extra special by singing happy birthday and gifting me a birthday card signed by all the guest when they figured out it was my bday! It is those amazing touches and genuine joy that makes this tour with Sixstar a one-of-a-kind tour that you should embark on.

We had a wonderful day with David a few weeks ago on a day tour to Falkland and St. Andrews. He was such a joy and made sure all our wishes on what to see were met. Now we all want to come back to Scotland and take a longer tour with him. You won't be disappointed with Sixstar.

We decided late in planning that we wanted a driver for our 4 days exploring the Highlands. Julie was very responsive in the beginning and helpful in our planning. Lynne picked us up in Edinburgh and spent the next four days with us. She was beyond helpful, always offering to stay later or do extra. She was much more than a driver and went out of her way to find something for everyone. You could tell her love for Scotland, especially as we explored new places together. We highly recommend Sixstar and Lynne.

My husband and I had a private 4-day tour with Davie. We sent a wish list of items we wanted to see to Julie and the two of them worked out an itinerary that allowed us to see everything on our list as well as some other amazing things they recommended.Davie met us at the airport and we left immediately to Pitlochry. The Inn on the Tay was definitely a highlight and an incredible way to begin our adventure. We would have never found this hotel on our own and can only be grateful to Davie and Julie for finding it and vetting it before we arrived. Our tour continued with a Highland Chocolatier tasting flight, Dewar's Distillery tour, a night in Inverness, Culloden battlefield and an extremely scenic drive by Loch Ness which I must have told Davie 10 times was much much bigger than I EVER realized!Our drive through the Highlands and everything on the Isle of Skye were some of the most amazing views we have ever seen. We had to have seen well over 100 waterfalls which culminated in the unbelievable one we saw by Kilt Rock. We stopped at the Glenfinnan Viaduct (from the Harry Potter movies) which was extremely cool to see but honestly, the view towards the Jacobite monument which faces the other way were more magnificent. Davie had knowledgeable stories about the many places where we stopped such as Eilean Donan castle, the aforementioned Jacobite monument and a crazy story about the Well of the Seven Heads where the delicious food at the cafe across the street made the stop even more essential!Davie was a wonderful guide and host; great stories, great recommendations, great laughs! So many other highlights that I could name; the Monty Python castle, learning all about Scottish whisky (no E!) and singing Bruce Springsteen and Neil Diamond with Davie! We could not have asked for a better experience and are so grateful to Julie and Davie for making our Scottish adventure so memorable. We highly recommend their services.

I just returned from an amazing 8 day Scotland trip with my family where Davie was our personal driver and tour guide. He provided us with a personalized experience of the country and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. He was prompt, attentive, down to earth, very accommodating, and had a great sense of humor. He made suggestions on stops along the way including amazing restaurants and little hidden gems. I cannot say enough about the tour, Davie, and Julie! From the booking to the end of the tour, they were beyond helpful and made sure that my family and I were taken care of. We booked a private tour into the Highlands and it was fantastic! We saw everything we wanted to and more. Coming from the US, I was unsure where to go & who to choose for a tour company, however, have no doubts that when I come back to Scotland again, I am booking with them!

My husband, daughter, and I had the pleasure of spending three wonderful days on a private tour with David. Due to a work event in London, we had a very limited time available to visit Scotland. David made sure that we filled every minute with so many amazing things that were both planned and a surprise. There were too many moments to list, but David brought the views, castles, small villages, and the history to life for us. He answered our questions, shared his knowledge and love for his country, and worked very hard to make sure that we had everything we needed. There is no doubt that David is responsible for us being absolutely obsessed with this beautiful country and our intense desire to visit again! When we do, David will be the first person we contact!
