A great place to train. I got back into jiu jitsu after a while away. The team has been very welcoming and accommodating!

Blue dog is a very professional jui jitsu school. I felt extremely comfortable learning from Roger and the other coaches. The classes are fun, well structured and easy to follow. I loved that even in a class I felt I was given the attention I needed to grow in jui jitsu and I was shown specific techniques that would work to benefit my frame and my style of learning. The first free week i found very useful so I could find my feet without an expensive investment.

Excellent environment, friendly and welcoming. Not just the coaches but the whole team. Can highly recommend to anyone, especially if you have a neuro diverse child as the coach has experience and a natural understanding.

I am new to BJJ and was looking for somewhere where I could feel at ease and have fun whilst learning as I was a bit apprehensive at first because I didn't know what to expect. Blue-Dog has more than passed my expectations! The coaches are friendly and approachable whilst being extremely knowledgeable which helps to ease you in especially in the early weeks! The other thing that makes it so special is everyone who goes! Everyone is more than happy to help you improve your knowledge and skills whether that's people who have been going 10 years or people that have been going for a few months. I always look forward to the next session! Easy 5 stars!

I've been looking for a BJJ club without the politics or hard sell of some franchises for a while, and found Blue Dog on the recommendation of a friend, and I wasn't disappointed. Martial Arts have been a part of my life since I was a teenager, so I have trained with a variety of instructors and coaches, and Roger is up there among the best with his relaxed and informative style. The other members are helpful, welcoming and fun, and I am glad to start my BJJ journey at last with Blue Dog.

Fantastic place to learn BJJ! Like most I was initially apprehensive about beginning, however that passed after the first session. Everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating to those just starting out!If you’re at all on the fence about trying it out, throw yourself into it, you won’t regret it!Brilliant value for money too!

Hands down the best Jiu Jitsu School in Yeovil! Everyone is welcoming, you feel at home after your first session. The head coach Roger is brilliant at explaining things in an easy to understand way and keeps the classes super fun and engaged. Blue Dog Jiu Jitsu is not only the best place I’ve found to train in Yeovil but it’s also the cheapest! So it ticks every box for me and my family. So happy I found them after being mistreated at a previous gym.
