B&M Home Store with Garden Centre

Staff was not friendly and never said hello back even I said hi. Awkward silence. And this happened a few times. I don’t think they are properly trained to be customer centred. I don’t expect a royal treatment but isn’t it proper basic manners when someone says hi to you you say hello back? I’m not a quiet person and I have spoke with a normal voice. Cashiers at the Abingdon shop says hi, why can’t the staff at this one be a bit more human? Oh ha and well a cashier told me she is closed after I have unloaded my shopping onto the belt. She didn’t even put up a sign, she just want to chat with the other cashier and go have a cigarette break. Haha. Well I’m not going in there ever again. Edit: read the other comments now, I suspect this has something to do with my skin colour. Well. It’s alright. You aren’t getting any businesses from me and my friends.

Would like to comment on members of staff in the Didcot Store. Steve in the Garden Section, and also the Supervisor I believe his name is Paul. We have visited several times this week, and I must say these 2 members of staff were so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to help us. We would like to share our appreciation.

Huge B&M with lots of variety of products. I do often have to wait for a while in the queue as there is usually only one or two tills open. Ample parking and good accessibility.

Today my husband and I went to B&M in Didcot. While we were looking for items we asked a gentleman for some help and he was so happy to help us on more than one occasion during our visit. First it was help locating the Febreeze refills, then it was the specific toilet cleaning tabs and finally he was there to help us with a price check on a vacuum cleaner. I would have thought we could’ve possibly annoyed him as we were taking him away from the stocking and general tasks im sure he has to do. However this was not the case. Darren was like I said more than happy to help with everything we needed. It’s very refreshing to see this level of customer service today. People most of the time can’t be bothered to do more than the minimum. Darren is a star employee and I hope he is recognized for his outstanding customer service!!

this shop is very much like Woolworths but bigger, everything u need n more...gr8 value 4 money...

Routinely misprice products, if there's a price at all. Have the audacity to charge £2.50 for a twin pack of Tuc biscuits but 65p for a single pack. Tills are very slow.

Not impressed by the staff and management (there was none present as I asked to speak to a manager and it was only about 6pm when I left). Couldn't get to many of the items on isles as they were full of roll cages, empty boxes littering the floor, boxes of stock waiting to go out just dumped on the floor. Staff were either busy comparing mobile phones and chatting and on another ise three members of staff were more engaged in complaining about the company.

I’d like to personally congratulate one of your staff members who helped me last Wednesday (3rd of May)Shamol took me to the area I was looking for instead of directing me. Working in retail myself, I really appreciated the gesture. We got to have a little chat and she really helped me try to find what I was looking for.I will definitely visit again and will be asking specifically for her!
