At Rez, when getting my hair cut by Ebbi, it always turns out great. Ebbi's cut conversation is not as shallow as your typical hair dresser. He is also majorly quick, but without cutting corners (get it?!).The only reason I dropped a star here is because it find it to be quite expensive. £10 For a gents cut taking only 5 minutes, £120/hr is very much on the steep side for me.However, clearly, I keep going back, so he must be doing something right.

I have been getting my hair and beard trimmed here since I first moved to Sunderland in 2008 and it is the only place I will ever use now. I have tried other barbers/hairstylists in the northeast but have never been as happy with the results as when I have been to Rez's. Both Ebi And Rez are extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive when you arrive, and provide an excellent service every time. 100% recommend this place whether you want a trim/tidy up or if you are thinking about a change of style. You will not be dissapointed! No idea regarding extensions or haircolouring though as I've never had either done.

Very bad and worst experience I ever had so far. I am a person who don't normally cut hair often and prefer to have long hair. I have been to Rez two three times quite a while ago. This time I wanted to change my hairstyle, wanted front cut. The girl on the reception was polite and welcoming. Last time they charged me more while in the half way through just bcoz my hair was thick and so time for blow dry takes longer. But then I understood and paid extra. She said £23 for wash, cut and blow dry. I agreed and my hair got washed in a nice manner by the girl who received me. Then I shown her some of the photos from web how I wanted my haircut and I clearly said I don't want to thin my hair ends. After few discussions we came to conclusion about partition and front cut and she started to dry my hair. I first thought she is going to cut my hair after little bit drying. In the meanwhile, another lady (who is from Poland) came to help this girl to dry my hair. They both started drying my hair on both sides and straightened it. I stopped them in the half way through and asked what they are doing. They said starightening. And I never asked for it. It was too late they said. Ok, I thought let's go for it. Once it's done the polish lady took over fully and said the other girl to go. She didn't even ask what she is going to do. So rude. Even she did hurt me while she was using sharp comb, and while drying she burnt me few times with hot air. That was so annoying. I don't know what to do. I don't want to be horrible and so I kept quiet. She did front cut with wrong partition and when I stopped her I the middle, she doesn't even understand what I am saying and she was bossing me. She even said, you are a stressful person

I had my nails done by Arezoo, and they are beautiful!! Very well done and whilst getting them done Arezoo was very gentle and lovely. I 100% recommend Arezoo for getting your nails done.I’ve had my hair done by Ellie. I’m in love with it!! The colour is exactly what I wanted and whilst having my hair done I felt comfortable. Took my 5 year old daughter to have her hair trimmed before going back to school. We had booked an appointment online the evening before, upon arrival the stylist we had booked was actually doing someone elses hair so we had to wait in waiting area with a dog someone had brought in. We then got passed to another 'stylist'. The woman spoke very poor english and could not understand what I was asking for with regards to length and style, so I had to tell her 3 times to cut more off. When it came to paying for the 'hair cut' we were charged £12 when the website actually stated a childs cut as being £7. When we got home and washed and straightened her hair, we realised there was over an inch difference in the length on each side of her face and it looked ridiculous. We then had to take her to another hairdresser straight after school and pay to have their mess sorted out. Would not recommend this place at all.

Ellie is the only person I will let near my hair. She's an amazing hair stylist. Rez is the only hairdressers I've ever been to more than once.
