Cafe had nice soup choice and coffee.I feel 1 toilet is not sufficient for the size of cafe.

Had a lovely vegetarian lunch at the adjoining cafe here in June 2023. Delicious beet hummus, nice quiche, and tasty grilled broccolini. Lovely latte with oat milk too. Note the instructions on ordering. Busy during lunch times. The art supplies store/bookshop were also impressive.

Excellent art shop and gallery, small but very well stocked with both artists' materials and a lot of art. Fantastic customer service too, done by people who just want to support art. Highly recommended.

Lots of interest here: gallery, cafe and artists' materials shop.The cafe looked fabulous, and I wished we hadn't just had lunch elsewhere.I loved the artists' equipment shop. So much fascinating stuff to look at, even for a non-artist - beautiful origami paper, lots of brushes, inks, textured handmade paper, paints, pastels ..... too much to list.Well worth a visit on the way to the old gingerbread shop

This café is such a lovely place. We actually went there twice in one day. First, we had a coffee and a date slice and then, after a walk up Easedale Tarn we went back for lunch. The Jerusalem artichoke soup and the fresh toasted sourdough bread was delicious. And the staff were very friendly. We're definitely going back there again

Fabulous modern cafe with art and book studio. Very well made coffees and innovative savoury snacks and cakes.In a very popular tourist area so not not the cheapest place to go but very good value.
