Pay and display car park, ideal for parking and walking across the barrage. It is good place for adults and children but the beach is not good for children as it is Rocky beach!

This place is beautiful. Its lovely for a scenic place to have a stroll.. good couple of hours walk.. goes on for a few miles. good views and cafes to keep you warm.Would suggest to wrap up warm; it gets freezing cold as soon as the wind starts to blow.Car park is fairly priced and nearby.

Cardiff Barrage Pay and Display Car Park
Very convenient car park for access to walks along the barrage, or simply to watch the boats going in and out. You can also walk along the pebble beach to Penarth. Every time we have visited there have been plenty of spaces available. The ticket machines accept cash, card and app payments.

Not a very well managed place. the talking telescope was a rip off. Got my coins stuck in and no one picked up the call. The view is alright too. Not happy with the parking facilities of the city overall. The city itself is beautiful

Easy access to park but machine wasnt working so had to download the app, luckily had a phone that can do this but some people may not so no option to pay card or cash

Lovely to walk across the Barrage and admire the views across Cardiff Bay and back towards Penarth Marina. We also watched a yacht with a tall mast passing through. Excellent way to pass a few hours.

Great location to eat your fish and chips and enjoy a relaxing walk across the barrage. Café is ok, staff always say toilets out of action cos staff are too lazy to look after them.

Clean and beautiful, and you can take a bike for a very small amount and walk around the place and there there are large watery saliva and you can come in special clothes or take clothes from the same place with all safety matters and monitors
