The team at Forest Cycle Hire are amazing. Pete was brilliant at helping set up the suspension on my bike and gave good advice. Based on that, I took my second bike in for a hub service and a few other maintenance things. They did the work quickly and the price was very reasonable. (Thank you Craig) I am really pleased with the service and would 100% recommend. If your bike needs some work, Forest Cycle Hire is a solid choice for service, quality and price.

I just wanted to leave this comment to say how awesome Craig is! We were a group of 4 beginners who cycled in the Haldon Forest and hired our bike here. Unfortunately, when approaching the end, one girl fell behind and got lost in the forest. She was super scared at that time. The time was already 5 mins past the closing time. But Craig, who stayed in the store, was amazing!! He was super patient, helpful and approachable. After knowing the girl's location, he immediately cycled there to help her and brought her back. The return journey was uphill, and my friend was too tired to cycle then, so Craig even helped push her bike back. They both walked back. By the time they were back to the store, it was already almost 6 o'clock. We really appreciate Craig's help!!! Thank you!!!!

What a find! Can't believe this kind of place existed. We hired bikes for the 4 of us and took a few of the many graded cycle routes. Perfect time for the family. The staff were very helpful and good with the children.

Busy and popular venue for mountain biking. Varied trails are well sign posted, though caution is required as certain sections are slippy or quite narrow.Good quality bikes and helpful staff.

Such a great service, thank you so much! My bike broke, so I left it to be repaired whilst renting a bike from the shop to enjoy the Haldon Forrest trails. Helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, top service.

Busy location however, to be expected during the holidays. Lots of activities and trails to explore and super friendly staff! Trails are sign posted appropriately and the difficulty is outlined appropriately. Would definitely recommend to others looking to hire bikes.

IGNORE Michaela rose’s review as I was thereI was in the shop on Thursday picking up my bike I had in for service and the review you have left is not only disgusting but a lie. I actually had to wait for the mechanic because he was busy watching your father on the trike to make sure he was comfortable before he let him go out. Granted I wasn’t there for when the trike was bought back but I know the guys very well and they are the most honest and genuine people who go above and beyond for anyone. I’ve been taking my bikes here and bringing mates up to hire for years and this place is an absolute gem. I strongly urge anyone who’s reading the reviews to completely ignore this review and look at it for what it is… A LIE.
