Needed an engine rebuild and when talking to local mechanics SVS was recommended highly, even the rac mechanic who came out recommended them. When the recovery driver who delivered my car there originally asked about where the car was going he recommended them highly too so immediately the usual 'car repair anxiety was lessened. Cant thank Gail & David enough - engine went on my Wife's VW Golf just before Xmas, called them up, collection arranged, vehicle fully repaired and back to us by new year - very impressed indeed and a great price. Car has been faultless since and after service has been second to one, quick email and all booked, hassle free which is what you want in this day and age. can't recommend them enough.

Had my Audi A3 2.0tdi engine rebuilt at S.V.S after timing belt snapped & wrecked it..They were quicker than expected even though there were 2 bank hols in the time.Couldn't be happier with the result.the cars driving better & smoother & faster than when it was brand new..Awesome place & amazing work carried out at S.V.S I would recommend 2 any1..Until something goes wrong then they use every excuse in the book not to honour the warranty.

A very good experience. Brought my car in for a service. Being the first service I was not extremely sure what comprehended. They have been very helpful and informative. Very fast service as well. Definitely will use them in the future.

Quick to respond and quote. Help arrange vehicle pick up from my home (transport company) quick turn around and repair (cam belt snapped) very pleased with work and communication throughout. Would definitely recommend.

Fast, Great Price, Excellent WorkMy problem was a destroyed engine which meant the car was worthless, SVS provided a great option of changing the engine at a great price, I searched around for a week and couldn't get a price anywhere near SVS's quote.They picked the car up and turned it around in 1 week, amazing!They also offer a 12 month warranty on the engine as long as you take the car back to them for servicing.Gale and David kept me informed on the condition of the parts of my engine they were to reuse and also told me when when the car was ready.If you need an engine go no further than SVS, they have been brilliant for us.

Do yourselves a favour and do not go to this garage. I had a reconditioned engine fitted here which is now knackered and they don't want to know because warranty has ended even though its only done 13000 miles! I paid £2000 for it and I'm now faced with having to have a new engine again. Their customer service is terrible. I spoke to them yesterday and they didn't want to know so I wrote an email today explaining my thoughts. The email I recieved back was terrible including very poor grammar and spelling.. says it all about the place really. From their handling of this it also says to me that I am not the first customer to have experienced this.. So who knows what job they did on the so called re conditioned engine. You put your trust in a place but it seems they don't tell the truth.

Do not use!This garage have had my van in three times charged me for two different repairs and still not fixed the original problem, lady in reception has no customer service and so rude!To top it off the refused to let me use my warranty as they couldn’t wait 12 hours for and engineer to inspect the workAvoid avoid avoid

Had an emergency with my car and when I contacted these, was asked to come in first thing the next morning. The problem was sorted there and then - fast and professional, really good customer service was provided. Great experience and would definitely recommend!
