Stayed hear twice and twice was not giving a key and not thinking went out for a few quiet drinks came back to hotel got in and into room wanted to go out for cigarette got asked for another 50 pound deposit i said no and got put out for not giving more money not recommended

Amazing free breakfast. Services are value for money. I stayed here for 3 nights and have booked for another 8 nights.

I didn't really like this place, the room was reminiscent of a modern prison cell, with just enough room for a single bed and a random sink sticking out of the wall, the carpet was inexplicably wet for the entire 2 days that I was there, the bed wasn't very comfortable, and the whole room had a nasty b.o. smell. The staff were nice, but gave my room number to a stranger without my permission, and let him wander up and knock on my door in the middle of the night. The only thing that I did like about this place was that the hallway looked like it had come straight out of The Shining, creepy but kinda cool looking. The rooms were cheap, and the location is nice, but I don't think I'd ever stay here again.

We had a great time at Alba Lodge. We stayed there for 4 nights. The place is pretty old, but it was clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and if you needed any more you could just ask. The room was cleaned every day. Only the shower wasn't really comfortable. The temperature was ok, but the amount of water coming out of it could be more. There also was a colour TV in the room with an option to connect a laptop to it. This way we could watch a film in the evening. The guesthouse was located close to the centre of Glasgow. In a 10-15 minute walk you were there. All in all we had a really nice stay in Alba Lodge, I would definitely go there again!

is near the town, breakfirst is nice, nice tv and vomfy beds but some rooms could contain windows not something for a klaustrophobic :)

Comfy bed, large, adjustable windows, lots of TV channels and free breakfast. Staff are professional and friendly.
