What a magical place. Called in to have a watch battery replaced, much cheaper than Timpson, fitted by someone who was clearly a master of his craft. So few specialist shops like this left - we need to support them. Highly recommend

When I called about having my watch battery replaced, the man who answered was rude and curt. I called back again to make sure he would be able to reseal my watch and also have it pressure tested for water resistance. But before I had finished my sentence I was rudely interrupted and told I didnt have to take my watch there if I didnt want to. This man had taken great offence to me calling him a second time and decided that by doing so I was somehow challenging his technical abilities. I merely wanted to ensure I wouldnt waste my time driving down there if he did not have the necessary equipment as not all watch specialists can offer this on site.I always try to support independant businesses when I can with the exception of a business severly lacking in basic customer service skills. There is absolutely no need to be rude and unfriendly. The way I was spoken to on the phone is unacceptable.Judging from the reviews, I am not the only potential customer who has been subjected to this mans persecution complex.Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere. I went down the road to a shop called Rafiq Watch Co Ltd where the man there was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.

I simply do not believe the negative comments against this guy. He is a clock genius. He mended my much loved specialised, not on current sale, clock that had died of old age. The clock will now see me out. I loved that clock and I have now got it back. Apart from that, the shop is a goldmine of old and new clocks. I cannot speak more highly of the owner. Highly recommended.

Hermle clock, just stopped chiming at the right time. All three winding mechanisms no longer worked. Now as good as new ( about 25 years old). Great service and expertise well worth the price , very reasonable. Certainly recommend. Thank you.

I found this gem of a shop by chance and have had my watch battery replaced here, but also some batteries for my camera. As well as the clocks and clock repairs, the owner also has a few SLRs/lenses for sale. Great service and specialist knowledge that is rare to come by these days. As others have commented, reasonably priced.Thank you

Len is a good guy. I’ve been in four times for various bits and pieces and each time I’ve left feeling more knowledgeable. He got this special watch of mine up and running (for an extremely reasonable price) and did some adjustments on a follow up visit free of charge saying I’d paid for the work already. His speciality is vintage movements as I understood it. 10/10 would recommend

Absolutely vile individual who spoke to my sister so rudely today (26/08/23) when she enquired about her TAG watch. She called the first time and asked if he's able to seal her watch properly after a battery change, to which he answered abruptly yes it'll be £10". She was concerned he didn't know that it's a sports watch and that it needs to be sealed properly. So she called the second time to explain that. And for some reason he was so annoyed she called again and said angrily "LOOK IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR WATCH DONE..." My sister was shocked
