Used Luke Armstrong from Watson and Co to secure a mortgage on our first home.I have to say that Luke's support was really outstanding, and he continually went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the process and understood all the ins and outs of what we were doing. He even helped us navigate some very unscrupulous estate agents (cough cough CJ Hole cough cough), who were playing some borderline illegal games with us when we made our first offer. He made sure we had someone batting in our corner and allowed us to avoid being taken for a ride by those amoral cowboys.On top of that, Luke helped us secure the lowest rate possible during the recent rate highs and lows, by keeping an eye on any rate drops and reapplying for us to secure the best deal. Given that rates are now way back up, we couldn't be more appreciative of this, since we wouldn't have been able to afford our new home without it.Lastly, Luke was fantastic in coordinating with our solicitor, working directly with them to ensure everything was set financially ready for exchange. Overall, it was very comforting to know our mortgage was in a safe pair of hands and someone who would be happy to jump on a call if we ever needed.
