So I left a pretty bad review last time because well the dinner was underwhelming but gotta say my last experience was much improved a nice bit of gravy so the meat wasn't dry mash was season better I think but still only a 3.5 there was a few big lumps of undercooked potato in the mash and I think the meat portion should be larger for the price but honestly much better than my last experience

Had the big breakfast there this morning.Freshly cooked. All good ingredients.The cafe itself is spotless and clean. Well appointed.Excellent value.The best breakfast in Darlington by far and definitely not expensive.

Lovely & Clean, a welcoming atmosphere with hardworking friendly staff. Food is Delicious & Homemade. Good value for money. Highly recommend people try if they haven't all ready :)

Ordered from here a few times now. So lucky its in my street so not far to go to pick up, but they also do delivery. Sunday lunches here are absolutely amazing, the chicken, beef etc comes apart so well, you get a good mixture of food with the Sunday lunch. Try the vanilla sponge cake with yellow icing aswell which are at the counter, so lovely. Highly recommend, my nan and I love it. Fresh Home cooked meals, sooooo nice.The only thing i would say is i wish it was open at tea time, especially during the week as i definitely would order if they did, especially when you can't be bothered to cook after finishing work. I can see the previous review said barely any gravy and it was dry, soooo not true at all, you get enough gravy and everything is so flavoursome, they also said the mash was lumpy, again not true at all its a very creamy mash no lumps at all. My nan and i have our Sunday lunch here every week. I've never had a better Sunday lunch, so the previous review i just don't know where they're coming from.

First collection and was very impressed. Easy to order and collected 5-10 minutes later. Perks of living in the same street. Will definitely use again and can highly recommend.

After popping in and ordering some drinks, my 4 year old son told me he needed the toilet, I asked the young girl if it was ok to use the toilet, she asked a lady in the kitchen area if it was ok? The reply was that it was for staff only. I said it's for my little boy, she popped back again and said it's for the kid. The answer was that there was stuff in the way. The law with having 10 seats or more in a restaurant there must be toilets provided! I wish I hadn't ordered any drinks now. Rubbish service won't be back again!
