Faye's been great - over the last six years she has done several alteration jobs for us, often at the very last minute, all of them super quality and very reasonable price (one free!). Highly recommended. She also designs and makes new garments, including for women with a fuller figure". Faye is a very kind woman and always tries to help us (two family members). By the way

I had a bridesmaids dress altered here not too long ago. I was greeted frostily by who I assume is the owner, who seemed peeved for being asked to do any work. I was charged an extortionate amount (£40! Almost the price of the dress!) for a shoddy piece of work - only on my actual wedding day did we realise that she'd sewn the zip the wrong way round. Luckily we got away with safety pinning the back up as it was covered by her hair.Would not recommend and will not use again. I can only assume that the other review was written by a friend of the owner as I can see nothing glowing about this establishment.

I get my work suits and spare suit trousers adjusted here and could not be happier with them. Very good value for money, quick turnaround, excellent service and quality finish. A little gem in West Norwood (and always good for a chat).

Faye is fantastic! She truly listens to how you feel in the garment, and is honest about what can and cannot be done. She worked on my wedding dress and I went from a very worried bride-to-be to feeling absolutely stunning on my wedding day.

I am so pleased that I had my wedding dress altered by Faye. Not only is she warm and friendly, she is an incredibly talented tailor. The alteration that she made to the neckline of my gown was perfectly done and I'm still amazed at how masterfully she hand-stitched it to create the perfect shape. I highly recommend her for bridal alterations and will definitely go to her again.

Faye is a talented seamstress. She had tailored numerous items for me and her work is exceptional. She pays great attention to detail and understands how garments work. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my vintage pieces.

Used Fairisle Fix It for the first time recently for a dress I was wearing to my firm's xmas do. Faye did a first class job of taking it in. Totally happy. Have been taking my stuff to Sew n Sew in central Croydon for years but Fairisle Fix It is much more convenient for me.

Faye is fab and happy to help out with any alterations. She is reasonably priced and even has lots of glamorous outfits in store too.Easily accessible from the station and has on street parking close to her shop.
