Nowhere inside where you can work and have a coffee at the same time (we got thrown out of the bar for opening our laptops, even though it was empty!), this please needs a rethink, it is a work-related place after all! After 5:30pm a no laptop policy is understandable but before is just inconvenient for lawyers trying to work.

Brilliant place. I visited during 'Women's Day' and listened to many wonderful women in the legal profession share their journeys. I noted The Law Society has many useful resources such as a library that has an excellent collection of books and journals, also very helpful staff who assisted me with research and advice for my penultimate year.

Amazing place, spectacular architecture.. I attended an admission ceremony here. The ceremony was well organised, the event was set in a stunning Grade II listed building. Fantastic setting, such a prestigious venue, with sculptures, portraits of past presidents, stained glass windows and ornate plaster ceilings. There’s a library, apart from law journals, they have document guides and a document supply service.Prior to the start of the awards ceremony there was an inspirational talk by the president of his legal career path, how he qualified as a solicitor. He also offered some advice for the qualified.. tips and traps to watch out for.A most enjoyable and memorable occasion

The headquarters of the Solicitors' professional body. Historic and grand, but affording Solicitors and Members very useful facilities, including an excellent Law Library.

What an amazing place! I was just a guest at an event, but enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The rooms used for the event were stunning, well lit and full of history. Some beautiful stained glass windows and wonderful plaster ceilings

You would expect The Law Society to be able to put some pennies towards someone answering the phones who does not sound like they are on minimum wage and would rather be anywhere else, with apparently no accountability if you question their demeanour. Then when you complain. after one month, you receive a generic email with a faux apology from a person with no name. When you pick them up on that, you receive the same generic email again one month later. Even ebay on a bad day has better customer services.

It was a beautiful building with an interesting history. I recommend letting people mind wander if given the chance.

Attended a fantastic University of Law London alumni event here. Inspirational talk by an ethnic minority experienced solicitor of her legal career path, excellent venue for networking over canapes and white wine. Disabled clean toilets and lifts available.
