Having a doula from the doula hub is likely one of the best investments you will make through those final moments, bringing you closer to your baby’s birth and for those precious moments during and after.Louise was our saviour and fairy godmother, not least to support us through a 48 hour labour journey, but for all of the love and attention she gave us in those last weeks of pregnancy and the first weeks postpartum. Even now, almost 6 months later, Louise is available for us and is always there at the end of the phone.Our journey with Louise and the doula hub was educational, supportive and full of love. Louise guided us through our birth plan, as well as ensuring we were looked after exactly how we wanted to be at the hospital and she did everything with such grace and finesse, it was almost like she wasn’t there. Pure magic! She was our cheerleader, our fairy godmother and she supported both of us in the exact way that we needed to be.Louise, our beautiful little Mila inspires us every day and we shall never forget the support, love and strength you gave us during her birth, before and after. When I first spoke with Louise I knew she would be the perfect doula for us and to support me during my pregnancy and birth. This was my first baby so I was quite anxious after a rocky journey. I felt an instant connection to Louise knowing she’d be the right person to help me navigate that.Louise has been such a huge support to us during the pre and post natal journey. She is kind, empathetic and her knowledge and expertise is invaluable.We felt very well supported, cared for and informed on our choices prior to the birth with our brilliant ante-natal sessions together. During this period, Louise was also available if we had any questions, or if we needed a sounding board or a second opinion. It was so reassuring to know this.In the lead up to and during the birth, I cannot find the words to describe how incredible Louise was. She really helped us and supported us with some challenging decisions that we had to make, always arming us with the best information in order to make the best and most balanced decision for us. I ended up having an unplanned C Birth and I was so happy she was able to join me and my husband in theatre for the arrival of our little boy. Following the birth, Louise was brilliant with the maternity team and helped protect our time together as a new family.Following the birth, Louise stayed with me when I was transferred to the post natal ward. Feeding was a challenge and Louise was brilliant in helping me navigate through that and even got a pump sorted for us so it was ready for when we got home from hospital!During these first few challenging weeks as a new mum, Louise has provided me with the most amazing support.Thank you so much Louise. You have been such an incredible and wonderful support to us throughout our pregnancy journey, birth and during the post natal period.

My husband and I knew Louise was the right doula for us from the first time we chatted online. Her warm and calm manner put us at ease and her approach just matched perfectly with what we had been hoping for. During my pregnancy Louise was always on hand if we had questions and she offered fantastic and detailed antenatal classes at home. As my due date approached, we were in regular contact and she gave me lots of advice and encouragement. Unfortunately, my labour and the aftermath were very difficult due to medical complications. Louise stayed by my side throughout the labour and all day after my baby was born. She was just incredible and gave me and my husband all of the support and kindness she could. We will forever be grateful to her for supporting us through the most wonderful but also hardest time of our lives. If you're thinking of hiring a doula, please choose Louise, she is the best.

It’s hard to put into words how fortunate we felt to have Louise with us through our birth journey.I was anxious about my first birth due to underlying health conditions and stories of traumatic births from family and friends. Louise was an amazing and reliable presence in the lead up and during birth itself.Louise provided us with all of the relevant information; while allowing us the space to decide what was right for us.I feel so fortunate to have had a beautiful birth experience and am fully sure, this wouldn’t have happened without Louise by our side.We will be forever grateful.

After a difficult first birth which resulted in an EMCS, I knew that finding a doula for my next pregnancy would be key. When I came across Louise (and Leti), I knew she would be a perfect fit- she was knowledgeable, empathetic ¬ too pushy.I can honestly say that there is no way I would have achieved my birth if it hadn't of been for Louise; she was around for the entire duration of my 49hr labour & knew instinctively when to be more in the background & when to step in. The midwives & Louise all had a lovely rapport. Louise's knowledge of biomechanics & baby positioning was so intrinsic to me achieving my intended birth & nothing was too much to ask - even having Leti drive over a homeopathic remedy late into the night!We will forever be indebted to Louise for everything she did - although my birth was challenging, it was without a doubt the greatest experience of my life- but more importantly; it healed me of my trauma from my first birth, and for this, I will forever be grateful.

The birth of my baby girl in May was an incredibly positive and empowering experience for me and I’m so glad Louise was my doula!! As first time parents-to-be, Louise opened our eyes to the birth options that were available to us, always armed with evidence-based research that helped guide us through a couple of hurdles.She was kind, warm and empathetic throughout my pregnancy, and was absolutely invaluable at the birth itself- it would have been a very different (worse) experience without her and I was able to have the homebirth I wanted! We also did the hypnobirthing course with Louise and I still use it to this day when I struggle to calm my mind and get to sleep!! Invaluable!

Her guidance and care during the postpartum period were invaluable, and we felt well taken care of every step of the way.If we were ever to have another child, there would be no question in our minds about hiring Louise again. She may be one of the more expensive options in the market, but her exceptional service is worth every penny. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a doula who goes above and beyond.While doulas are often associated with supporting mothers, we believe that Louise's presence was just as crucial for fathers, alleviating the pressure and allowing us to fully be there for our partners.It has been six months since Mila's birth, and we still remember Louise's brilliance vividly. Her professionalism, genuine care, and unwavering support made a lasting impact on us as new parents. We are extremely grateful to have worked with The Doula Hub for the birth of our first baby and would not have had the positive and empowered experience we had without the support of both Leti and Louise.We worked with Louise on hypnobirthing sessions which were incredibly valuable and the tools we learned helped keep us calm during a very different birth experience to what we had first imagined as I ran into problems at 34 weeks of pregnancy. Louise was also our back up doula and we felt she was with us every step of the way alongside Leti.We cannot recommend highly enough!

It is hard to write in words to convey everything Louise did for us and experienced with us. We are first time parents that had very little knowledge about pregnancy and birth and no family support throughout pregnancy to guide us (and tech nerds who spent way too much time asking chatgpt or google). Louise's expertise and calm nature allowed us to learn and be extremely informed on our options during pregnancy, birth and now postpartum. As a first time mom I was able to trust myself and my instincts and make decisions to bring my baby girl into this world. I can tell you that while my birth was not pain free, the hypnobirthing and all techniques used were the most pain free and controlled part of my birth experience. We had the best experience with Louise as our doula. From our first getting to know each other meeting, Louise was kind, warm, and compassionate - we felt at ease with her immediately. Our sessions with her were eye opening -- we loved that she involved my husband in the whole process and she gave us all the evidence based information, tools and techniques that we needed to make decisions that were right for us at every step. My labour and childbirth experience did not go the way I expected, but having Louise's support made all the difference. I especially want to single out Louise's generosity-- she made herself available to us at midnight one night and helped me manage my pains during labour (my baby was back to back and I was having severe back labour pains). She sat by my side till I fell asleep. She even sent my husband away to get some sleep so he was not tired for the big day! When the day finally arrived, Louise was everything I needed her to be -- calm, encouraging, reassuring, and extremely helpful. We are so glad that Louise was part of our journey and we cannot recommend Louise enough. Thank you, Louise!
