Stunning autumn colours (lovely spring bluebells), great walks around the two lakes in an old historic setting. Look out for Gawtons Stone and well and the waterfall at the top.

On the opoosite side of the reservoir in relation to the car park. Lovely wooded pathways that make a wonderful walk around Knypersley reservoir especially on a warm sunny day. Lots of wildlife to see and also try and spot the fish in the lake. There is a small car park that holds about 25 cars and it fills up quickly on hot summer days but you can get a space if you are prepared to wait 10 to 20 minutes.

A really nice area with many places to see the birds and squirrels, the folly is always an interesting area but you can't go in it unfortunately. The walk around the outside of the reservoir is a decent length, not too long and is great for letting your dog have an explore.

I'm extremely lucky to live so close this unspoilt area. Lots of fun childhood memories fishing and playing in the woods. Thankfully it's loved and maintained so my children can also enjoy it as they grow up.

Small but free tarmac car park. A lovely circular walk around the reservoir, on mostly stone tracks. Very scenic and peaceful place, well worth a visit.
