This is the best (little) cafe in Edinburgh!! Excellent prices and sensational service from Cheryl and her Mum, Karen. I visited 3 days in a row and was always greeted with warmth, kindness, banter and delicious food that isn’t overpriced. Every ounce of this cafe has been laced in love, and you can certainly taste it in all of Cheryl’s homemade cooking. I’m obsessed! Can’t wait to come back! 11/10It’s a small hole in the wall with 1 table for 2 inside and 1 table for 2 outside so be sure to grab takeaways and enjoy them walking up towards the castle or sit and have a natter with the gorgeous girlies. * They also offer catering (is there anything they can’t do?!)

Absolutely lovely little cafe. Cheryl (the owner) is so welcoming and friendly. Had a lovely chat with her while eating delicious soup and sheltering from the rain. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Edinburgh.

A gorgeous little cafe in the old town of Edinburgh. Amazing prices and amazing customer service, 2 lovely women who are so welcoming. The milkshakes were unbelievable !

So pleased to have found this cafe which looks and feels just how a Nana's home will be, warm. The owners of the cafe are so inviting and accommodating that they were happy to recreate my favourite coffee, biscoff latte. They offer comfort food and slices, made how it should be - like Nana's. Definitely worth a pop in when you're in town. Reasonable prices too!!

This is the best place in Edinburgh (including the castle!)Homemade lovely food at a crazy reasonable price, owner is great craic. Get a ‘Belter’ morning roll with haggis it is lovely. We went for breakfast once and came back every day of our holiday. Lovely kind people and great food - plus the price is right! Highly recommend!

A must go-to spot for anyone who has a sweet tooth. We got the Nutella milkshake and Reese's milkshakes and they were absolutely delicious!Incredibly lovely and helpful owner. Definitely recommend!

What a great little shop! Both the ice cream and baked goods were delicious and we couldn't decide, so the owner made us the BEST sundaes that combined both. Absolutely wonderful food, and even better customer experience.

The ice cream and treats here are great, but they are made truly incredible by the creativity and love the owner puts into making each order something you will enjoy. My wife and I each got a sundae, and they were over the top delicious. If you get the chance, stop in and let the lady behind the counter help you create something wonderfully suited to your taste. She knows what she's doing, and she clearly loves doing it!
