No.6 York Villas Guest House

If I could leave 0 I would. The host was hostile and rude. He checked us into a room that had already been used by someone else and was not clean. There was a left pint glass and there were cups everywhere, stains on the bed. The host then gave us another room but the SAME key opens ALL doors be aware. We were speaking to the host then turned aggressive on the phone and shouted get out of the accommodation. He also hung up on the phone and lied to us.

This is just the worst place you can ever stay at. It’s completely disgusting, nasty. The beds and rooms are a completely scam for anyone. DONT STAY HERE NEVER.

Perfect guest house, staff are amazing. Cannot fault the continental breakfast so much choice. Everything we needed to hand 100% recommendRoom was lovely and spacious we all had a comfortable night sleep. Our room overlooked anfield stadium our 6 year old was obsessed with the view. We stayed 2 adults and 1 child.

Very clean room, comfy good value for money, great view of Anfield as a Liverpool fan. Definately staying there again

No one to meet us on arrival, rang them no reply, Outside for 30min, when eventually got in , the door had not been locked, walked in room was dirty, bedding looked as thou someone had just slept in it. Sheets had dirty marks on, and somebody's hair was still in the bed, no curtains on windows, and a large damp area hidden under the window. Cups were dirty, and spoon looked and felt like it hadn't been cleaned for days, Single beds were only kept up by a board of wood under the mattress, oh and the bathroom window was smashed with a hole straight through, and you could see the road outside through the hole, plus no blind in bathroom, so everybody could see you. Didn't last in there for 10min, when rung Dean he blamed the cleaner, wish I could give a zero rating, but won't let me.

Lots of hairs and food stains on sheets and pillows, sand on sofa cushions, we didn't want to sleep under the sheets so we slept on top of the blankets in our day clothes and put our jackets over our pillows to avoid skin contact. The room clearly hadnt been cleaned, car park had garbage and broken glass, we messaged the owner to ask for a cleaner room but no reply. The photos were deceptice, the place was old and falling apart and smelly. We had booked two nights but left after the first night, too disgusted to stay there and worried to park our car in their drab car park on a Friday night. This is a genuine review, AVOID this place!

Just returned from a lovey stay in Liverpool and trip to Anfield. The view of the stadium from the b&b is amazing. The owners cannot be faulted for their friendliness and kindness, nothing is too much trouble. Our room and bathroom were spotless as was the kitchen. This is a b&b in Anfield and for the price you can’t beat it. You can pay treble and be miles from the stadium or you can enjoy the closeness to the ground and appreciate the value for money. We will visit again. Thanks Dean and B for helping make Lyla’s birthday so special. Lucy, Jay and Lyla.

Fantastic location very close to the stadium! Very serene and peaceful. The rooms were quite pleasant and spacious. I was made to feel quite welcomed by the owner and staff, who were very friendly. The owner went the extra mile to help me find letting agencies around the premises. I strongly suggest staying here!

We stayed over for the night, having our check in made so easy by receiving a text a few hours with instructions before checking in allowed made it smooth for us after travelling a few hours. Dean made our stay the best possible by ensuring we had everything we needed. We did the tour of the stadium the following day which meant we were in the perfect location with it being across the road!
