Horsey Beach
My family visit Great Yarmouth for vacation almost every year, and this is the first time we came to Horsey Beach to see seals.Fortunately, we saw a group of seals sunbathing on the beach. Our kids are amazed. The parking here is very convenient, and then walk 2-5 minutes to the beach. The sea water is clean, and there are seals swimming in the water all the time, and some will go ashore to rest. When entering the beach, there will be reminders to keep a distance from seals and avoid leaving any garbage. It was very sad to see a seal’s neck stuck in a plastic ring, and I hope a professional can rescue him.

£3.50 parking for up to 2 hours. It was chucking it down and freezing cold when we went. So this probably isn't a truly accurate review. We only went to see the seals and their pups, and as far as that goes, we weren't disappointed. But it was so so cold.

First ever sighting of seals in the wild. Visited twice, once in a heavy rainstorm and then again the next morning when it was sunny and dry, albeit breezy. Worth coming here just to sit back at a distance and seal watch. Beach is clean and tidy too and cliffs are nice to walk along.

The highlight of our visit to Norfolk. We were very excited to see seals playing in the sea just in front of us... they seemed to be showing off for us, as they kept coming to where humans were on the beach. We were then gobsmacked to find well over 100 seals out on the beach further up.Well worth a visit and the £3.50 car parking charge.

A bucket list gor my daughter to see the seals. It was very cold and windy but worth travelling to see . The car park was very close to the entrance to the beach and hard standing. Not too expensive either .

Lovely to visit and walk. Watch the wildlife and recharge your batteries. REMEBER, these are wild animals. Beautiful but wild. Watch from a distance.

Really well organised, volunteers explaining where the grey seals were and where you could walk. The seals are currently pregnant so the beach is off limits, great sight

Beautiful hidden gem where you're literally 20ft from Seals in the sea. We parked at horsey gap which cost £3:50 for 2hours. The whole family absolutely loved it. Regardless of the weather, it was a great experience.

Nice little beach where we can often spot seals bobbing around in the sea. There is a pay and display car park at Horsey Gap, but there isn't much else in the way of amenities. There is a large sandy incline followed by an uneven cement decline, so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

We visited the beach today in hope of seeing the grey seals. It was very cloudy, windy and cool which was stirring up some large waves. We saw a large seal on the beach and lots of seals bobbing around in the waves. We were slightly disappointed not to see more seals on the sand. It was £3.50 to park. The beach it only a short walk from the car park. We spent about 2 hours walking on the sea wall and a short time was spent sat seal spotting. We enjoyed our time here definately worth a visit.SEPTEMPER 2023 we revisited to see the seals. The sea was calmer, it was a lovely sunny day. The seals were enjoying playing in the sea and a brave man was swimming with them. They swam alongside and didn't really get close but they were definitely interested in him. A joy to watch.
