VERY POOR , as a veterinary practitioner I found the service not only poor but also condescending! The phone operative was also ignorant of the current UK law pertaining to dogs chained up !Realistically I should have expected nothing less as in ten years of practice I found the RSPCA in most instances ineffectual! The PDSA conversely are sympathetic and helpful to people and their animals .

Just an answer machine most time and a group of people who only seem to care about certain animals.

Terrible people, belong in prison

Unfortunately, we had an awful encounter with a member of staff at the gorse hill branch in swindon today around 14ish. My other half and I saw an item with the value of £10. Of course we wanted to make sure that it worked. We turned it on and placed it on the floor to see it walk and what else it did. The member of staff that seemed the need to inform us that she was a 'manager' serval times, complained we were draining the batteries and took the item away. She seemed unimpressed that it was not in the original position and forced its legs back into place. Becasue of the noise it made, my mother then asked to see the item to check it wasn't broken.She then replied 'didn't you just see it working on the floor down there' and then continued to be rude to my mother. I then asked why she was being so rude and that we wanted to get that item for my young nephew so was checking it worked ok. The 'manager' then again informed us she was the manager and told us to leave and not come back again.We have been to this shop many times, I haven't seen this lady before but due to how we were treated, we will not be going there again. Considering the funds are raised for charity that she is representing, I would have thought she would have been helpful and assisted us with the item like a professional. Instead she appeared to be a power mad manager.
