I don't often leave reviews, but felt as though my experience today justified it.This was my first experience buying a suit, and I genuinely had no idea where to begin. The young lady who helped me pick and measure for my suit was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble, and I truly appreciate her help.

The day before going to a wedding and like most men casually wandered in hoping I could find something. Had absolutely amazing service from Jess who not only reported me from making a huge styling mistake, but managed to find the very last suit in my size (after we looked everywhere else). Totally amazing experience, great product and price and a massive thanks to Jess who was just amazing. Highly recommend, and well worth the trip!

I went in store to buy a “summer suit” with a budget of £250, that was all the information I gave Jess who was helping me. 30 minutes later I left with the most beautiful double breasted lilac suit and a lot more knowledge on fashion then when I walked in! Jess was fantastic and shared her opinions and what would look good on me and really helped me create my own judgement on what I truly wanted. She was professional yet friendly throughout and made me feel dead posh in my new suit! Haha! Thank you ever so much, don’t be surprised if you catch me wearing it every day!

Great selection of suits and accessories. Staff are helpful with advice with matching accessories and information on the suits that will match your body type.

Had absolutely no interest whatsoever in helping my partner find the right suit or size. They wanted us to buy the three piece suit from two different stores and no guarantee the sizes would be in stock or reserved. They wanted us out the door quicker than we walked in. Anyway, went to Suit Direct (also in the metro centre) and the staff couldn’t be more helpful in contrast. Shocking attitude from the staff.

We went in to the Moss Bros Metro Centre Gateshead this morning with every intention of buying a suit, shirt, tie, belt & shoes. We were ignored upon arrival (there was no one else in the shop), I asked if they could measure my son which they did and was advised they only had one suit in his size in store. We said no problem we’ll try that one and if it fits we could order a different suit in that size. The jacket didn’t fit which I pointed out to the staff who looked at me blankly with utter disinterest. A larger size was supplied which still clearly didn’t fit but this was apparently down to my sons chest & shoulders being the ‘wrong’ size. They were adamant we wouldn’t get a suit anywhere that fitted him because of this. The lack of interest, enthusiasm and the general unwillingness to help us was astonishing. The manager/supervisor didn’t spare us a glance and the two younger lads weren’t bothered. We were clearly trying to buy which we later did at Skopes who couldn’t have been more helpful and despite my sons ‘wrong’ size found him a suit that fitted perfectly. I will recommend Skopes to all the parents of my sons friends in the run up to prom.

Booked an appointment, which was a waste of time. Apart from being given a shirt from storeroom (as there were no sizes on the shop floor), there was no other service/advice offered. In fact another person was being assisted the entire time of the appointment". It felt rude to interrupt and ask the questions we had

Had a great experience yesterday 22/12/23 I may have left with the wrong size pants originally- Thanks Josh. You were close 36s is close to 34r but hey ho. But thankfully after being tortured for 2.5 hours by Jess and Mia they finally gave in and agreed to swap them for the right size, but only if I took my shirt off so they could see some tattoos! Was a great laugh with great staff would definitely recommend!

I went to this outlet on Wednesday 07/12/2022 to buy a suit for an upcoming wedding. The selection to choose from was pretty good for what isn't a huge outlet, though I feel lucky to have found something that really jumped out at me. The stand out part of the shopping experience was the Sales Assistant - Jessica. She was incredibly helpful, cheerful and incredibly professional. She helped me chose a properly fitting suit and style, even giving her opinion when I needed a helping hand. She went above and beyond when dealing with the delivery aspect of my purchase as it may have been affected by the upcoming postal strikes; this made me feel reassured and that my suit was in safe hands. All in all, the whole experience could not have gone smoother and Jessica is a credit to your stores and should be valued as such.

After wandering aimlessly around several other shops I popped into Moss Bros in the metro centre I found Andrew was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable and passionate about the product he sells. He gave solid advice and guidance, this makes such a difference when trying to find the perfect suit.Top guy and well worthy of a 5 star review.
