Nice attraction that I've been visiting since I was around 5 years old.. that I can remember anyway.. hasn't changed much over the years and was great to take the nephew for the first time. He really enjoyed the trains and the crashed wagon

Lovely pleasant person working in the shop. A range of ice creams, hot and cold drinks. You can also buy duck food. Toilets. There are good walks to Blackrocks up a steep hill or more level along the canal.

Very interesting area , historic place, the old workshop with original artifacts I found very interesting from an engineering aspect. Not withstanding I do remember the Hopton rail incline actually in working use! Even seen a runaway wagon in the catch pit! The exchange area from Canal barges into railway wagon's would be amazing to witness. Keep your eyes open on the Canal to see tiny Dab Chicks dive &stay underwater for what seems impossible,only to surface & before your camera is focused dive again!

Lovely little place to stop off after a walk down the canal. There's a 'tuck shop/cafe' and toilets plus picnic benches next to the canal.

One end of the High Peak Trail. If you start here be prepared for a significant climb almost straight out of the carpark. Toilets and a cafe to help ease you in. The views across the valley from the top of the 1st climb make it all worth while.

Beautiful and tranquil place, decent car park with parhway to the junction where there is a pleasant coffee shop alongside the canal. From here you can make your way to middleton top along the high peak trail or take a stroll along the footpath or along the canal. Well worth a visit.

A very nice place to go to. A short walk from the car park. There is a canal with a restaurant and then there is a hiking or biking trail. All quite beautiful

Beautiful area fabulous walk! Unfortunately fog stopped my walk midway and I needed to turn back but I’m glad I visited this area!

Walked up Cromford Canal for 1.5 miles. Had drink and biscuits. Found rate original train repairshop. Worth a visit.
