No shop any more but still has bank side toilets and the two ponds I fished in gave a steady stream of small f1's and Bream all day

Stayed here in The Boat as an overnight airbnb. The whole place is an oasis of calm and tranquility.

Lovely little place with a huge stock of quality fish. My first session was on the windiest day of 2018 and still managed f1’s, ide, skimmers, bream and carp... all to traditional whip fishing techniques.

Came to the lakes with partner to fish for 24 hours. Didn’t have a warm welcome and the balliefs working there were pretty rude. They wanted 50 pound, that’s me just being a spectator. So decided to go to Chester lakes as they only want 30 pound an it was amazing.

Nice place, well-kept, very clean facilities. I stayed here at the boat" stay. The owner is a decent man. I did not try the fishing

Wow, what a great fisherie. The baliff/owner is sound af. Looks miserable but trust me he's a good guy. The place was immaculate, bins every where, toilets and shower blocks were clean. We stayed for 2 nights and caught 10 carp 10lb + between us and 100s of silver fish, 14lb was the biggest we had. There's a co op near by and also a few take aways. Overall it was an epic weekend away and I'd would definitely recommend, I don't give 5stars lightly.

Carp were elusive; very cold day though. Plenty of of decent stamp silvers throughout the day.

Lower Ridge Farm and Fisheries
I've fished this place 7 time now and it's not an easy water to fish for carp. There's plenty of smaller fish that are happy to feed but the carp are few and far between.I've not blanked once when I've been as the F1 are a pain arse but at least it's a fish.So to some it up this place is about as good as any of the other small Fisheries locally.Give it a try and yes you can use boilies.

Really nice and quiet. Out of the way and relaxing I am not much of a fisher but my boyfriend is teaching me and I am really enjoying it. Lovely lakes. Some big fish and fantastic owner. will be returning
