The pub looked good from the front and inside (proper pub). The rear of the pub was untidy and dirty. We ordered food, which was awful and burnt and it was definitely not value for money.

The food was lovely and the service was great!. Very attentive and my allergies were taken into account carefully. Good range of drinks available. The service for both drinks and food was very quick. The staff were happy, attentive, talkative and efficient. We will definitely come for food and drinks again.

My first time visiting and what an amazing pub this is! The food is delicious and the wide range of drinks caters to everyone. From 0% beverages to crisp wine that hits the spot , I highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere and brilliant service. Will be coming back

Nice pub, helpful polite staff. Good choice of beers. The only reason for the bad review is the food. I never EVER had food so bad. Microwaved hard chicken, cold chips. Horrible..GREENKING GROUP....... you need to seriously look into this.

The food was great and nicely presented. The pub was clean and there was a good atmosphere. I would recommend. Corey the new Manager was friendly and doing a first rate job.

As a parent of 2 toddlers, and as a lover of great food and beer. This place is 10 out of 10.We were welcomed through the door with smiles and it honestly felt like we were being greeted as family.

Went there on a Friday night, And was fantastic, a great atmosphere and great selection of drinks on offer.The food was also awesome (ordered a steak and ale pie). The pie was warm and filling, with a nice piece of cabbage!Staff were super friendly and tending, and had a great knowledge of the beers available and the pubs history!Overall, a really great experience, will be back soon! Would highly recommend!

Average Sunday Lunch. Service was nice and able to walk-in without a reservation.Beef was good, Yorkshire pudding was a 3/10 as it was flat and stodgy.Roast potatoes we more like chips/wedges 2/10 and I couldn’t eat the veg as it had dried out 1/10.That said the gravy save the dish and was exceptional 10/10Probably wouldn’t return in a hurry.

Good food at a reasonable price. Somewhat of a wait for our food, but this was mitigated with excellent communication by the new manager explaining the delay and with the addition of a complimentary drink and gift voucher. This was unexpected and well received. Will definitely return. Recommended.

Molly and Andrew were great and demonstrated excellent service. We were let down by a restaurant nearby but we were treated to a fab alternative here. Great experience all round and they were both exemplary, thank you both, you made our evening!
