Jago Jewellers St Albans

Went into the shop today, to find they were a fantastic jewellers in St Albans.The staff were very polite and extremely helpful would definitely recommend.

We were thrilled with our experience of Jago. The range of pieces, service, and pricing were all really really positive. We're grateful for the care and attention of Kaci especially, who both knows her stuff, and treated us with patience and kindness as we made choices.We purchased an engagement ring (new) and two wedding bands (one pre-loved, one new), and additionally had two rings resized and re-plated, with a watch battery done to boot too.Firstly, the selection of pre-loved rings is great, some beautifully interesting pieces at very fair prices. As mentioned, one of the wedding bands was pre-loved: all hallmarks are clear, it is beautifully conditioned and presented, and Jago arranged resizing.We went for a new engagement ring in the end, and also ordered a matching wedding band. The selection of new items was really good, with options in most stones for most budgets.With two rings we already had needing resizing and replating, we had four rings (two old, two new) in Jago's workshop and all have come back the result of great workmanship. The replating of a white-gold ring is lovely and it is restored to glory; a resized (chunky) signet ring has been enlarged maintaining a perfect circle, with slight 'dings' repaired too; our two new rings were resized perfectly too.Communication while rings were in the workshop was super, with clear expectations set.Overall, we are just thrilled to have dealt with a local independent jeweller that clearly cares about what it does. Highly recommended.

I had some pieces of jewellery cleaned after a house fire. The staff are really friendly and the pieces came out great. Big thank you to Robyn who went above and beyond to help me. Was particularly impressed with my daughters silver bracelet that went from looking black to looking brand new again! Will definitely use again in future.

I have been to the shop twice and I must say that the customer service is always outstanding. The staff are friendly and they go out their way to meet the customers' needs. Fantastic customer service. Took my watch strap in for repair and the team sorted it there and then, and gave me a brilliant explanation about why it had broken in the first place. Left a very happy customer.

I had excellent service by Selda & Robyn at Jago. They suggested a necklace for my needs & went out of their way to get it right. I also had some engraving put on it which makes is personal to me & the turn around on it was less than a week. Absolutely love it & will enjoy wearing it forever. Thank you for your help! We went to Jago twice; first to get my engagement ring fixed and it was well done and we were so impressed with the service we then decided to use them for our custom wedding bands. My husband's band was quite complex, but Jago (in particular Ian, who worked with us the whole time) were amazing and patient. In the ends the bands are brilliant and we are so thrilled. Would 100% recommend using Jago again and thank you especially to Ian who was really kind and knowledgable. Thank you again.

I went to Sago Jewellers to get my bracelet chain adjusted/taken in. I must say Robin who served me was an absolute delight . She was so patient and spent nearly 45mins helping me decide how much to take off the chain because I was so indecisive. She was incredibly patient and did everything she could to help me! I couldn't recommend this Jewellers enough, all the staff are so friendly!!!
