The Wye Inn Pub & Restaurant
Came for a Sunday carvery, party of 6 for the first time. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Welcomed by the staff, all friendly, service was great, carvery was amazing, proper gravy made, lovely options on meats and veg, the cauliflower and broccoli cheese was very nice too. One note was the roasties, they could be slightly crisper but that's individual choice. Will be back again soon!

I met my son here for lunch on 31st October 23.I ordered the lasagne, which took 15 mins to arrive, which, for me, is a good sign as it was a little busy, and also can indicate some element of fresh preparation. However, when the lasagne arrived, it was just about warm, not hot as the cheese hadn't fully melted on the top. Given that we were restricted to time, I didn't send it back, but I'm unlikely to visit again for food. Service and atmosphere were good, but sorry, the underheated food let it down.

Service and staff were great, I loved the menu, the way the food was priced in column £6 £8 £10 etc. When the food came out, it was quick and of a great standard,. This is value for money. I should add, dog friendly pub as well.

It was off to a promising start Helpful staff and the menu looked good. Decided on fish and chips for us both. Food arrived without much of a delay and looked lovely. But underneath the fish batter was raw on my wife’s food. She ended up just eating the fish out of the batter. If you can’t cook fish and chips - you can’t cook. Simple as that. No staff ever came near after the food arrived. So you have the choice of eating or one meal going cold. Sad to say we can’t recommend and won’t be back

If I could put less than one star I would. Awful placeChild size portions and adult portion prices. Was a party of 22 spent a lot of money. Steer clear and go to maccies.Full English was a English, You won't get full off it

Don't be fooled. Looks appealing from the outside.. advertising cask ales, good food.Reality is there was one cask ale on tap, which then went off and no offer of changing the barrel. Went to sit at a table, it was sticky, very dull menu, settled on Steak and Ale pie.. didn't have it. Ordered a chilli dog and a blue cheese and mushroom dog. Waited around 40 mins to be presented these awful little plastic trays, with a hot dog in and another with fries in. Purely awful. Basic catering sausage smothered in a powdery sauce. Ended up leaving it and getting the hell out of there.

Worst pub lunch experience ever!Been coming to the Wye Inn for years, and always had fantastic food, always very busy. Came in today, no wifi available, and had ham egg n chips, with what was basically spam! Everyone knows Ham egg n chips is essentially gammon, but nobody told the Wye Inn pub! See the photo. Basically, a handful of chips, 1 egg, and several spices of spam cost me £6.Don't bother!

Decent family pub. Polite staff.Not a 5 as I save that for places that really go above and beyond.Wife's mac n cheese wasn't great but the kids meals and my and my sisters carvery were good.Well worth a visit, especially as there is indoor and outdoor play areas for kids. That's a real win!
