I attended the half day block printing workshop. Started with a lovely coffee and a really good demonstration of the main techniques then it was playtime! We had 100’s of stamps we could choose from and a complete rainbow of colours in paint. We started on plain white fabric to get the hang of things, I then went on to stamp a tote bag, tea towel and smaller zipper bags. It was fantastic, I will definitely be back - thank you!

I attended the introduction to Block Printing course with a friend and we had the best time ever. Holly was a fabulous tutor, patient, knowledgeable and thorough. The studio is crammed with lovely things and I wanted to buy everything. The company ethic with regard to sustainability and supporting local artisans in India is highly commendable. The gift of some beautiful, handcarved blocks to take to a school I support in Africa was overwhelming and represented the global nature of this small company. Highly recommended and I plan to return in the future.

I attended a lampshade making workshop at The Arty Crafty Place last Thursday and had such a great time! The staff are so friendly and helpful, offering advice, explaining and demonstrating each step in detail and being very patient with us. We had lots of time to practice on small pieces of fabric, until we were happy with the colours, blocks and design we wanted to put on our lampshades.If you love crafting, I highly recommend The Arty Crafty Place. I'm looking forward to me next workshop, hopefully before too long.

I attended a full day printing workshop last week. My experience that day was amazing. The resources available was endless. Holly and Annabelle were excellent . Holly was v helpful that afternoon with doing my projects. Just loved it all and waiting to go back with my sis in law again! My projects from that day. I would highly recommend a full day workshop as you get more out of this.

Brilliant family business that also supports families in Jaipur who make the printing blocks. Everything is of good quality and beautifully packed. The tutorials are great! I did an online workshop with Tess, which was fun during lockdown. The tuition was clear and at the right pace. I have been printing tea towels to send to much missed love ones. Warning! The paint colours and the blocks are so beautiful you will want to own them all

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful block printing workshop yesterday. The studio had lots of choices of blocks and paints and Holly was very clear with her explanations. I also enjoyed how you could choose from a variety of items to print on.

Thank you Holly, and everyone at The Arty Crafty Place. I attended the traditional block workshop, and I was so excited to have the chance to use the large blocks with handles. The day was so much more than I could have hoped for; plenty of practice time and top tips from Holly before we went all out on a large item. My Turkish towel has come out so well and I am now looking forward to coming back for more courses.
