A1 tuning

Booked A1 for a Stage 1 remap on my Ford Focus 1.6t and am not disappointed! The remap itself is night and day compared to how the car was before. Power delivery is excellent across the range, just how it should have been standard! Joe kept in touch and was fast and efficient. Explained everything he was going to do, and had done after, and walked he through the pre-map checks he did too - massive bonus for being mobile meaning I could continue working from home without having to travel to have the map done, was also cheaper than others who quoted £50-100 more! Will definitely get in touch again when I change cars :) Thanks Joe!

Joe is brilliant. Diagnosed quickly that my clunking was caused by a broken rear spring. Recommended a brand of springs and replaced all with new. Now my car sits at a better height and gives a more confortable ride. See pictures for difference.

100% recommend A1 Tuning, excellent service! Extremely communicative, very competitive pricing and did a great job; the car goes so much better now, and I negated the issues with my glow plugs and no more problems with my DPF. Unfortunately, it appeared that my exhaust clamp broke a couple of weeks following, but Joe was fantastic; he came out immediately (on a Saturday morning) and repaired it, no questions asked. He even dropped everything he was doing to sort out my friend's car that, ironically, broke down outside his unit when she gave me a lift over there to collect my car. That’s top service; I wish more people were as genuine as Joe. I highly recommend!

Despite all the 5 stars I'm really disappointed in this service. Been let down twice with no followup booking slot. I can understand if you're booked up with appointments and may not want to actually do the work for me but twice in a month is not on.

A1 Tuning recovered my car, found the leak in my brakes, and also replaced disks and pads all within 36 hours! Kind & friendly. Kept me up to date with the issue and repair with pictures ect… all round a very good experience and unlike other mechanics, he’s very fairly priced! Will be sure to use A1 Tuning again!

Fantastic service received. Replied straight away with my query and went into detail with what service I would benefit from. These messages were quite late at night too, my car now runs really smooth with better fuel economy. Very friendly technician (sorry forgot your name) would recommend to anyone. Joe is absolutely amazing!I had a coolant level low warning on my Vauxhall Astra GTC that was intermittently popping up. Joe got the part and booked me in within a few days of enquiring about the issue.Joe is easy to get on with and very efficient. He’s also a great laugh, has some good banter and makes you feel at ease. He even made me aware that the dealership I brought my car from a year ago, gave incorrect info about it having a timing chain so now that’s the next repair job on the list for Joe and my car!Excellent mechanic and I 100% trust him with my car over any dealership / mechanic.
