Dr Owen was a really lovely, personable and approachable doctor who did an amazing job helping me with the rash on my hand. She diagnosed it straight away after I had been misdiagnosed 3 times at the pharmacy and not able to get a GP appointment despite it being a serious and contagious condition. Dr Owen prescribed a medication which worked straight away and a follow up consultation a week later ensured everything was ok. I’m so pleased with the service and how Dr Owen made me feel heard, not rushed and treated me so professionally. It was such a relief to get rid of the condition so quickly. Thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr Maria Gonzalez and Imtiaz for over 4 years. I initially went as I had pigmentation issues on my face. I was given a second to none service and a treatment plan. Over the period of treatments I have received, my confidence in myself has improved 10 fold. I have since received other treatments over the years and I couldn't be more happier with the results. Friends and people who have known me for a long time all compliment me on how much better and how well I look. This to me is everything. The care and advice I receive from Dr Gonzalez and Imtiaz is rare to find and I would not trust anyone or want to go to anyone else when it comes to my skin. I will be a life long patient. The practice is an absolute pleasure to deal with, right from the reception area with the two Sians and of course being treated by Maria and Imtiaz. I cant recommend them enough and now my whole family are patients also.

I have been visiting the clinic fora number of years on and off. Every member of staff is incredibly knowledgeable and lovely. I recently had a hydrafacial with Imtiaz. Her technique is like no other and my skin is always left looking less congested and glowy.I’ve had laser treatments with Sarah and have felt comfortable and listened to when talking through my problem areas. I have also seen Dr Gonzalez a number of times for things such as acne and redness. Dr Gonzalez has always been able to help and advise me. She was the only doctor who could successfully treated my acne. I am incredibly happy with the results of any treatment that I receive. I cannot recommend the Skin Clinic enough.

I have been a client at the Specialist Skin Clinic for quite a few years now. Dr Gonzalez and every single member of her team are friendly, helpful and professional. The treatments they provide are very effective and confidence-boosting. I just wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

I have had pigmentation on my face lasered at the Specialist Skin Clinic in Cardiff and the results have been excellent. Cory Carpanini has done an expert job and I highly recommend her skills. Cory accurately predicted the number of sessions I’d need and was thorough about maximizing results in every session. I had complete confidence in her. The before and after pictures Cory took really show a very noticeable improvement. The pigmentation has gone with the added benefit of increased collagen production following treatments also improving my skin’s appearance. I can’t recommend enough, I look better and the money I spent on myself was absolutely worth it.

I attended the Specialist Skin Clinic in January due to suffering severe hair loss. After receiving the diagnosis of Alopecia Areata Dr Owen and Dr Gonzalez started treatment the same day. 8 weeks into treatment I started seeing results and 4 months later, I’m happy to say I’ve had complete hair regrowth. I cannot thank Dr Elin Owen enough not just for the treatment but for the empathy and compassion shown. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff but very hands off service for acne treatment. I thought I would be getting at least a skin scan, but just got given antibiotics and topical gel (that gave me a reaction) without really checking my skin. I contacted the dermatologist about my skin reaction and got told to stop using the medication, but didn't offer a solution. Obviously, it didn't treat my acne at all.Very pointless and very expensive trip with no specialist help.

I visited the clinic in January 2021 following numerous GP appointments with no resolution due to my anxiety over redness on my face. Dr Gonzalez instantly put me at ease and developed a treatment plan to treat my rosacea.I had pulse dye laser treatment and I am still receiving treatment today, but less frequent (every 6 months). The results are better than we could have ever wished for and Dr Gonzalez and Imtiaz put me at ease every time I attend the clinic and are always on hand after the treatment.The clinic is very clean and well maintained and Sian on reception is excellent and always extremely helpful.I would highly recommend specialist skin clinic and would not go anywhere else. I feel more confident in myself due to the treatment I am receiving.
