We went last weekend for the second time with some friends for the bottomless brunch. First time we were served by what can only be described as a girl with attitude who couldn’t be bothered! This time we was served by Adam and he was amazing, welcoming, full of energy and nothing was too much trouble. Drinks are plentiful and pizzas are really nice. The only downside is that both times I have been all pizzas haven’t been available. Pizza is the main food you sell and all pizzas should be available at all times.

Great vibe both times I have been to this bar, there’s someone for everyone Game wise to Arcade cabs, Pandora’s Box and Basket Ball game to name a few. The cocktails have a nice variety and many are displayed in unique glasses which is a really fun concept. I’d recommend it to anybody.

Where do I start? I have to say the 2 staff that helped us were good but it was one of those nights where everything just went wrong. We bought £100 worth of game cards, for machines that kept taking the money but wouldn’t work.. some apparently with additional buttons (no signs), and will continue to take credit. We ended up complaining, after lots of back and forth and just giving the cards back.We were given 3 races upstairs as as an apology but was booted off after 1 for ‘people that have paid’, which naturally annoyed the whole party who was out for a birthday. By this point I think everyone just gave up and ended up at the bar. Service was good, but the drinks weren’t good at all! Some of the spirits didn’t taste like what they should’ve been - vodka and southern comfort in particular. We didn’t eat, so can’t rate the food but in all not a great experience. It felt like an absolute rip off honestly.

Nice place, pizzas are lovely and drinks are good. The nostalgia was strong, and great! We all enjoyed our visit. The issues were that the games were pretty expensive, some famous mulitplayer games could not be played as such (no signs explaining this) and there were some oddities with payments (sometimes payment would be taken and credit not applied). However, this was redeemed by comfy sofas and a PS2, so I hope they do more of this in the future!

The experience of booking the event wasn’t the smoothest however we booked the raceway for a family birthday and we absolutely loved it. One of my favourite activities we’ve done as a family and would defo do again.

We came for the brunch option today and it was great. The pizzas were hot and fresh, with a quick service considering they are a meter long! There was a great choice of drinks for both alcohol and non-alcohol brunch options.Staff were so friendly; thank you especially to Adam and Jo for being so helpful. The choice of games is great too - we will definitely be coming back for another brunch as it is great value for money. Thank you all!

Genuinely had a fantastic afternoon in this establishment, Jo absolutely looked after us as a group and I would 100% come again either with a group or on my own for the nerdy arcade machines

It was a gathering of work colleagues for a drink and a bite to eat. I realised why it's called the Playhouse. Loads of video games like Guitar Hero, air hockey, and plenty of others. Just us in there at around 6 pm. The pizza tasted great, and the drinks went down fine.

I went with a few friends during my trip to Northampton to try the Metre Defeater challenge - you have 45 minutes to eat a metre long pizza by yourself and you will get it for free if you win. They cost around £30. The pizza was tasty and you get water and dips for free with the challenge. If you're with a group of people and aren't interested in the challenge, the metre pizza is a good way to save money here. The garlic and herb sauce is home made and tastes great.Staff here are really relaxed, genuine, and friendly, and despite the sheer size of the food, it was quick to be served.I didn't win the challenge, although there is always next time. It was still worth it to stuff my face with great pizza for £30 and still have food left over to share with my friends. There's a variety of arcade games here to play too, so you could easily spend an afternoon here and not get bored or hungry. This place is highly recommended!
