Had a very enjoyable family meal this afternoon. Pleasantly surprised to seabass on the menu. Ordered it and it was delicious. The rest of the family had different choices and left clean plates. Coffees were also very good.

Disappointed with the food. We came for a family meal and all found the food overcooked. I had a chicken burger and it was fried so much that the chicken was really dry and hard to chew. We used to really enjoy the Farmhouse for a family treat, but this has put us off. Even my 3 year old didn't eat his chicken nuggets as they were too tough and he always loves chicken nuggets. Also thought the self service for knives and forks was a bit of a backward step, when you are paying for table service. Will we return? Sadly I think we could get a better experience elsewhere for our money. Service was fairly quick, we didn't feel like we waited too long, just that the food wasn't worth waiting for unfortunately. Hope above feedback helps to improve things kitchen side as we like the atmosphere and convenience of being able to order from the table.

It's a Green King pub so pretty cheap and cheerful. The candy mania has changed though, not sure it is as good....

Lovely food and great service from Bex and Lisa always friendly to my little girl. Plus we love to see the ducks!

used to really enjoy it here, have been going since i was young. but recently things have went downhill, the bar lady is always rude and grumpy towards me and my friends, by making a comment at the bar to my friend “i won’t be cleaning up any sick” when no one was sick nor even mentioned anything about it. having worked in hospitality myself, i understand it can be frustrating and stressful but it’s not professional at all. despite this rudeness we were still nice towards her. i suggest some staff training to show how you should treat customers. staff really didn’t make any of us feel welcome like most times we have been. thoroughly dissapointed and something needs to change

We were taken to The Farmhouse for a meal and a catch-up. I'm sorry to say that I was not impressed.We were not shown to a table, although that may have been the fault of our hosts, who just marched in and sat down.The first thing that we encountered is a particular bête noire of mine - the sticky table! I have no idea as to why pub tables cannot be cleaned in such a way as to remove the stickiness. It is unpleasant.The food was served fairly quickly to our party of four but it was decidedly not cordon bleu. I had sea bass with vegetables. The fish was a little overcooked, although it did separate from the skin and tasted fairly good. The vegetables were barely cooked at all. They were not 'al dente', they were virtually raw and very chewy.All I can imagine is that it was the chef's night off and the other staff were trying to cover. However, that doesn't excuse sticky tables!

In answer to what you could do better, is a little nicer service at the order point, lady seamed a bit grumpy, I know it was busy but not the customers fault, and everywhere was a bit grubby ,and no hand soap in the toilets. Food was good so I've updated that. We used to come there a lot a while ago but stopped coming due to how grubby everywhere seamed. Other than that the place could be good.

Big queue at the bar so ordered on the app. Took over 25 minutes to get our drinks. Food arrived was warm not hot.
