If you need to switch off from the world around you best place ever. Little part of Wales not to far from civilisation but when your there you feel like your in the middle of nowhere.

Amazing from start to finish! We had a very lovely relaxing break here, Charlotte and Barney were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Boat house which was beautiful, had everything we needed and the perfect place to unwind with nature. We will definitely be coming back.

Camp Plas
Amazing owners and a really well thought out campsite. Eco friendly with access to a river. Really wonderful place, we stayed in the bell tent which was a lovely private get away. The campsite fields were lovely and hope to use them at some point in the future. 100% recommend!!

My family just had an amazing 3 night stay at Camp Plas and we all enjoyed every minute of it. There's a lovely, relaxed vibe to the whole site and from the moment we arrived we knew we had found something special. The pitches for our tent were generous in size and very well spaced out, with only 13 or so pitches across the entire meadow we stayed at. This made it lovely and quiet and added to that 'back to nature feeling. There were fire pits on each area and bundles of fire wood could be bought from the owners for a very reasonable price.Amenities are really good with a small kitchen next to the shower facilities that holds a large fridge, a freezer, kettle, gas hob, microwave and a washing up area. This is all next to a large, open sided barn where you can sit and enjoy dinner and drinks with fellow campers, ideal if the weather isn't as warm and dry as you'd prefer. The river Vyrnwy runs through the site and there is an ideal place to dip your toes in the cool, shallow waters. Our kids loved this and enjoyed fishing with nets and throwing stones into the river. It's a great campsite and one we will look forward to visiting again soon.

What an amazing place!! I recently spent a weekend here with my husband and this is by far the best campsite we have been to! The showers and toilets are so clean and stylish, the kitchen area is very practical and the views are just incredible! Charlotte and Anthony were so warm and welcoming. The pitches are super spacious and camping by the river was a real treat, especially the fresh morning dips! It really felt like being part of such a nice community staying here and I can't wait to go again! Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Disconnect yourself and get down to this place. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, you’re brain will thank you for unplugging yourself from emails, social media and everything else. Myself, my hubby and daughter spent two nights here for New Year and it was just wonderful. The owners give you the friendliest of welcomes. They show you round and make you feel totally at home. It’s a relatively small campsite, with a field for campers and field for camper vans. There’s no hard standing pitches and no electric hook up. Ok the day we got there it had been raining so much that the fields weren’t useable but the owners found a suitable place for us to park up.The facilities are lovely and modern. Two toilets. Three shower rooms with toilets. One of the shower rooms is reserved for the folks that hire the boat shed which is great. You can see the owners have thought about things as there’s a basket next to the sink with shampoo, shower gels etc for you to use just incase you’ve forgotten.Next door is a kitchenette with a fridge, kettle, sink, microwave, oven. Literally if you’re it’s great. There’s also a large open shed structure that’s got campfires, dinning tables, ping pong table so people can just gather and have a chat whilst enjoying the long summer evening or better still the cold evenings all wrapped up in blankets. If you want a real family atmosphere when you go away then I highly recommend this place.

Stayed in the Boatshed the last two nights. Absolutely fantastic! Facilities were just what you need for a perfectly relaxing break. Charming and magical place. Drinking wine on the balcony over looking the river whilst being bombarded by acorns as storm Agnes approached made us laugh. Funnily enough the storm seemed to skirt around us. Definitely highly recommend and we will be coming back. Thank you Charlotte and Anthony. ☺️

Camp Plas
An absolutely stunning campsite. It perfectly blends the sense of being in the great outdoors with discrete mod-cons like great showers, proper toilets and an electric kettle. The barn was a great venue for our group's Birthday weekend. Charlotte looked after us really well with barbecued lamb from the farm and pork from the farm up the road. The wild swimming spot is idyllic. Also really easy to find as presence on google maps is strong

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the welcoming committee (3 dogs). We were then greeted by Barney who then showed us what pitch to use and he allowed me to take my car on to the field as I was using a Tentbox. The pitches are a really decent size and they were a short walk to the river. The views are fantastic more so in the morning when the mist is passing over the hills. The toilets, showers and kitchen were very clean. I was able to buy a large bucket of wood for our camp fire for just £6 every night. Owners (Charlotte and Barney) made us feel welcome and are happy to chat with you and even showed us the chickens, chicks, pigs and baby lamb (Tabitha) who is happy to be stroked. Overall it was a really good visit, and I’m hoping to be back in September.

Camp Plas is an exceptional campsite. One of our most favourite ever. It’s in an incredible location - you can’t see a road, another dwelling or a pylon, just trees and hills. It has its own section of river for swimming, etc. Pitches are huge and spaced out. Little kitchen (with kettle, fridge and microwave) and covered barn area mean it’s great regardless of weather. Beautiful rustic charm plus Charlotte and Barney are such warm, friendly hosts. We’ll definitely be back - it’s idyllic.
