Great spacious bar. Lots of seating on different levels on ground floor. Trendy bar. Good range of lagers, craft lagers/beers and top shelf spirits.

Very good Liverpool pub about 10 minutes walk from Lime Street Station. 5 cask beers on handpump when I visited including a stout. A few tables outside. The pub has an interesting history as Kirkland's Bakery and its name comes from their slogan 'no flies in the loaf'.

Decent pub with nice beer but awful experience with food.Ordered at 5pm, complained at 6pm as no food had arrived, was told they'd made a mistake and not sent it through, fair enough, I can forgive a mistake. Still no food at 630pm, requested a refund but told the food was being sent down now so agreed to wait as we still had half a pint. At 650pm, still no food, man behind the bar refunded me, not only without an apology, but seemed annoyed that I'd even asked for a refund

This used to be my favourite pub in Liverpool but after visiting tonight I’m feeling a little sad. It’s gone from being a sophisticated international pub to a weird kinda cocktail bar. The bar itself has been painted green (I think), there’s fake plants hanging from the ceiling. Some of the refurb doesn’t look too bad but the carpet in the front of the bar looks horrible. I will not be drinking here again. Genuinely sad.

Just returned after 10+ years and found it has had a refurb - even smells new. Beers selection great but sad to see the old design gone, but I guess it’s moving with the times and attracting younger customers. The long bar is still there and also sports available on multiple tv screens. Food pricing seems ok - £15 for high quality burger with a free pint.

Love this place, plenty of drink options and offers too. Haven't seen a menu to know they offer food so can't comment here but yep would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing drink in a comfortable environment.

Not been here for a very long time. Was pretty empty for a Saturday night. Decent beers and 80s tunes

Busy pub with great choice of hand pumps. However a very load quiz was underway and it made conversation difficult. View down a side street of the cathedral form the front windows.

Lovely name and excellent beer, the bar staff were knowledgeable and there were games to play at your table, give this place a go but the toilets let it down

A great pub and piece of local history. Fantastic old school bar. Friendly staff and a great vibe.
