Gorgeous Gem's Bakery - Wedding Cakes

Gem made us a perfect wedding cake. It was not only beautiful, it was honestly the best tasting cake I have ever had. Gem was more than happy to provide gluten free and vegan options for our guests. The vegan lemon was so good, you couldn't tell it was vegan. There were so many flavours to choose from, we actually got a bigger cake than we needed. We are so happy we did because we are still eating it from the freezer!

Gem made our wedding cake for us. We had her coconut and lime and a chocoholic sponges and they were delicious, but we’d had a hard time choosing g the flavours as all of the cakes we sampled were lovely. Gem was a pleasure to deal with and full of ideas when it came to decorating. We were so happy with the decoration as well as the great flavours.

We recently had our wedding on Saturday and Gem provided the cake for us. The whole process from the beginning was really smooth and she was so helpful providing us with free cake samples and delivering them to our address. The cake was delicious and look amazing! All the guests loved it. I would definitely recommend booking her.

Wow, I don't think my words will describe the cake that we recently had at our wedding. We met one of Gem's team at a wedding open day at our venue where they had some cupcakes to taste. Originally I thought we would go and get a cake from M&S as I wasn't too fussed about a cake, but then we tasted the samples and my mind was changed immediately. We had some samples sent to us in the post back in January and it was honestly one of our favourite parts of the wedding planning process. It was so hard to choose a couple of flavours to have for cupcakes as we loved them all so much. In the end we went for a small cutting cake and then lots of cupcakes that our guests could pick at throughout the evening. We cut the cake at 8 and by 9 there were barely any left! Not only are the cakes amazing but so is Gem. She is the nicest person to speak with and so helpful. I cannot recommend Gem enough if you are looking for a cake so delicious there will be none left!

I cannot recommend Gem enough! Gem made us three different flavoured Tiers and catered to all dietary requirements in 4 further cupcakes.The cakes were beyond incredible and tasted amazing! We had so many compliments on the Salted Caramel layer especially.Gem herself was lovely and put up very well with my constant questions and checking in.I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Gem to anyone that needs her services!

Gem prepared our wedding cake back in July and did SUCH an incredible job, it looked absolutely beautiful and so many guests commented on how delicious it was. After all the ups and downs of covid, Gem was so so helpful and understanding when we had to move our date. The tasting session was fabulous too, Gem was so friendly and guided us in the right direction with the flavours, which were a winning combination. We really can’t thank her enough and would highly recommend!!!

From the very beginning of our correspondence Gem was meticulous and thoughtful about bringing my vision for the cake of my dreams to life. Her attention to detail and skill are incomparable. She accommodated all of our requests including dietary requirements, a cake-sample care package that travelled internationally (via my parents) and took care of the edible flower order for my 4-tier Vegan Lemon Buttercream and Fruitcake Wedding Cake. All this would be enough but ALSO the cake was delicious! And it looked phenomenal! The cake was admired by all my guests and my family and I were scoffing down the remnants for days after. A joy to work with; trust her with your vision, she will make it a reality! Thank you so much!

We asked Gem to do our wedding cake. She was recommended by the venue. When we tasted the 6 samples we choose all of them were so tasty. Spoilt for choice. The cakes are fluffy and light and super tasty. We went with the chocolate flavour. We sent her pictures of what we would like our cake to look like. It's a cake she's never done before and it was stunning. Thank you Gem for making our perfect wedding cake!

Gem was an absolute star to work with from start to finish. She kept in close contact with us to discuss our design and flavours. She came during our wedding breakfast to set up the cake so it was there waiting for us. I think the best compliments that I can give are that the venue said they were shocked that all the slices put out were eaten because this rarely happens, and that my husband, who never eats cake, could not get enough of her glorious creations! I would recommend her to anyone! x
