The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was average. We ordered 4 main courses 2 were brought to the table. But we waited another 5 minutes for the others. By which time my daughter's noodles were cold! Plates/dishes also cold.

We have been coming to The Great Land Cantonese restaurant since they opened 25+ years ago - it has been consistently good all that time; the food is excellent, the staff are wonderful.We have eaten here many many times and never had a bad experience yet.This is our first choice - always. the set buffet menu is great value for money and there is something for everyone......I have seen some other reviews, and yes, this is a smallish (45 seat) restaurant - with staff appropriate to the night, and at times, one may experience longer service times - but why rush - if you are out for the evening, enjoy and relax.See you very soon Great Land !

We had a combination starter consisting of ribs, wings, wantuns, prawn toasts etc which was absolutely delicious and our main meal was equally as delicious. Well worth the visit

The food got thrown in the bin and sat hungry all night. The rice was hard to eat at all. Paid over the odds expecting a decent take away from a restaurant, should have known better as usual.

This is an excellent family run takeaway & restaurant. They have had a recent smart refurbishment, and are still the lovely, welcoming & excellent eatery that is well known in the wider area

This is a wonderful Chinese restaurant .The owner has lots of Vegan and vegetarian options on the menu .We are a meat free family and we always feel very welcomed and catered for at The Great Land

I have read the review and unless it has been taken over since October I can't understand how people thought it was the best Chinese ever! I personally wouldn't eat here again which is a shame as I live locally. I love salt but the salt and pepper wing were soooo salty they were inedible. I didn't enjoy any the courses. The rest of our party thought it was mediocre at best. Probably the worst Chinese restaurant I've been to for a long time. Service was fine though, hence, two stars.
