Kent Heating did a great job installing a new Worcester Bosch combi boiler (replacing a hot water tank system) together with a hi-tech Honeywell Evo individual room, internet connected thermostat system eight years ago, back in 2015. They also, at the same time, moved a radiator for me, which involved chasing out new channels into a concrete floor. They did a great job.They have performed the annual service of the boiler ever since and have always turned up perfectly on time on each occasion. The engineers have always been professional, respectful and courteous whilst remaining friendly.Just as the 7 year warranty on the boiler was expiring, I began to notice a slow, but creeping, drop in water pressure in the boiler. Because it was minimal initially, I did what we all do and ignored it for many months. Eventually, I contacted Kent Heating and their engineer said that I'd need to isolate the central heating circuit from the water heating system, which would determine whether there was a leak in the pipework or whether the boiler itself had an issue. This meant waiting for warmer weather when the heating wouldn't be necessary (and didn't we have a lousy spring and early summer this year - 2023)?So, by the time it was suitable to do the troubleshooting fully, the boiler was nearly a year beyond its 7 year warranty (Worcester Bosch give 12 years nowadays) but Kent Heating, having diagnosed the problem as a faulty heat exchanger, contacted Worcester Bosch and arranged for them to change the heat exchanger 'out of warranty' but as a goodwill gesture. This act saved me many hundreds of pounds and I couldn't be more grateful. And everything is working perfectly again now.Thanks Kent Heating!

Can't speak too highly of them. Have been a customer for some years and never had a problem with our warm air installation, until one night it started making extraordinary noises. One phone call to KH the following morning and Gary was on the case. It was fixed by lunchtime. What more can you say:- when the going gets tough

We needed to update our extremely old Johnson & Starley heating and hot water system. Kent Heating Ltd was recommended to us by a British Gas Engineer. Gary from Kent Heating Ltd came and gave us his advice and quoted for the services that he could offer. There was no hard sell, no chasing us after we received the quotes, we were given the time to weigh up the right option for us which was brilliant.We were happy with the quote to fully upgrade the system to a new Johnson & Starley combi boiler and Johnson & Starley Aquair unit.We arranged a date that was perfect and wonderfully quick.Matt and Liam arrived exactly when Gary said they would and were two of the nicest workmen we've ever had in our home. They were polite and courteous. They did an amazing job over two days and cleaned up so well when they had finished you would never had known they were here!Wonderful gents that are a real credit to a wonderful company.So happy with the work and we would recommend them to anyone. Gary and his team replaced an old Johnson & Starley boiler with a more efficient Aquair unit, together with a combi boiler. He even went the extra mile and fitted a shower (at an additional cost), and we finally had an energy efficient system operational after 1.5 days of work. He and his team (which included in unfailingly polite and courteous son), were on time, and completed the work to the highest standard and our utter satisfaction. There was initially some issues in ordering some parts, but Gary has kept us in the loop, and he prioritised our work once he received the missing parts. I will highly recommend them. Good job, guys!

They were amazing. My boiler was broken and Gary came over the next day to assess what was needed. The next day they came and fitted a new boiler. They explained all the controls in detail for me. Really pleasant and professional service. Would definitely recommend them

Needed a very old Johnson & Starley gas warm air boiler upgraded. Called Kent Heating who was recommended by J&S and they came to give a quote quickly, we booked in the work and all completed on time. Very professional installers, worked quickly and left the area completely clean upon completion. Highly recommend this company!!

Kent heating installed a warm air and hot water boiler. The fitting was bodged to begin with, the water required a pump due to the location of the boiler and water tank, yet this was not installed until we had quite a few episodes of no hot water.Annual maintenance was carried out poorly. The engineer was only here less than half an hour each time, not long enough for proper maintenance.The vent tile was cracked which was not deemed an issue until one particularly stroppy engineer came to service the boiler. He said he would get a quote and left the boiler off, saying it was condemned until the work was carried out. I should add that no sticker or notice was put on the boiler to show this.Despite many calls, no one would come and remedy the supposed issue, so we switched to another heating engineers, who have been great.Would not recommend kent heating at all due to the overpriced lack of servicing, and rude agressive staff. Bear in mind this is in a pensioners house!

Our current warm air heating and boiler were over 30 years old and increasingly performing below effective capacity. The prospect of higher energy costs prompted action! Gary had been recommended by Johnson & Starley ( one of two). He outlined the 2 options for a property of our size and gave us advice to meet our needs. The team of 3 ( Matt, Ollie & Gary) over 1 and half days installed a new combi boiler and an Aquair system (heat exchanger) The work was thorough and completed to a very high standard. An existing cold water tank and an old immersion heater/tank also had to be removed. We retained our airing cupboard which was great news for us! Gary and his team were very professional in every aspect of their work . A highly recommended team. Thank you Kent Heating.October 2023 - just wanted to add a further comment to my initial one in Spring 2021 (above) Our boiler gave us an error message . Tried to identify the problem from the User manual but no luck. There was no heating ( warm air system) or hot water. We cancelled our service contract with British Gas once the new system was installed and as advised had it last serviced in 2022 by Kent Heating. I wasn’t sure what to do but decided to send a text to Gary on his mobile re: the problem ( this was Sunday evening !!) I must admit I did not expect a callback so soon. We were surprised and so grateful for his returned call during ‘out of hours’ . Gary asked a few questions, told us what to do and within a few minutes the heating and hot water were as they should be. You can definitely rely on excellent customer service during the installation and moreover later when a problem might arise. Thank you, again, Gary for being at the other end of the phone and also to know that you or an engineer will always be able to resolve a problem - no matter when an issue arises.
