My Dyson hoover was faulty and they were happy to replace it with a NEW one, which was perfect.However, the fact that the new one was USED, was not perfect at all.The box looked suspicious (like it was opened before) and I mentioned that to the staff, but they reassured me, that it is brand new.So after realising it's used (just like I thought), I took it back to the shop at 15:55 on Sunday and when I was liaising with a staff member, I was approached by the manager and told that they were shut now.I took it over to another Argos and they sorted everything with no problems and apologised on Warren Heath's behalf, for tragical customer service.

2 years buyer!Young guy behind the counter didn't wont release my product because I have no IDI showed bank card, argos card and argos application!Not enough!So I have to drive back 40min. One way to get my passport.I will never buy againThanks for running my afternoon!

Argos inside Sainsbury's Store.Good experience but really could do with more staff.Click and collect worked well.Some search terminals were out of order.Several people waiting but overall wait wasn't too bad around 10 minutes.Friendly staff.

Very disappointed, Purchased an Xbox controller a few months back and the young lady who served me encouraged me to buy an after sales package (if the controller ever breaks I can take it into store and receive a direct replacement there and then). Xbox controller is now broken but they have no stock of the black one I purchased for a few weeks. They do however have other colours which are more expensive but they won't replace it with them because of the price difference. I could pay the extra 10 pound but then it'll mean I've paid 62 pound for a 39 pound controller, hardly seems fair.The insurance is still a good deal assuming they have stock of the item you've insured, but unfortunately the customer service is no where to be seen.You'd think somebody would be able to look away from the computer says no" script

Bought a watch that didn’t work initially took it back it worked there by magic but it didn’t fix the time the manger viciously instead of helping asking to go away and said he called the police I went to Sainsbury’s customer service to seek help two managers come and said they have nothing to do with Argos whilst same manager from Argos was walking around the isle for validation of goods and going around the self service check out they says customers can get their full refund up until 28 days from purchasing date but after 1-2 days they doing this to customer.

At the time of writing this is lowest rated Argos branch in the region, and with good reason based on my experience today. I was 'served' by the same manager as earlier reviewer Sabrina and left equally unimpressed.I went in to collect an Apple iPad (the new model launched just ten days ago) and was handed a tatty, dirty dog-eared box that a market stall or car boot seller would have been ashamed of. There was no acceptance that the product packaging was substandard and no attempt to offer me a replacement. I was told that there were no more available anywhere for a week or more. I should take the substandard product or take a refund. Paraphrasing, that I should like it or lump it.Having bought the item with a gift card sourced specifically to purchase this item, a refund was not really an option. I needed the goods.Rather than deal with the situation and help out the manager gave me the customer services phone number and then disappeared into the back of the store for over an hour. Meanwhile, staff tried to chip into my telephone conversation from the side rather than offer any service themselves.Customer services were immediately able to source me a replacement peoduct for delivery next day. They were not able to explain why the store couldn't handle the situation themselves. The manager re-emerged at their request to process an exchange, but only after accusing me of being a liar.For you own sanity avoid at all costs.

Went to look for an item from Argos this afternoon, we were looking in a catalogue and the manager ‘Craig’ walked over and ordered us to move out the way, as unbeknown to us it was a queue area? No signs to say this.He wasn’t polite, we were barked at. And because we said “ok well we didn’t know, no signs to say etc” he said “ well I just said to move aside etc. Then it ended with him telling us not to shop there.Wow argos you really do employ delightful people. Will not be returning and will purchase further items from another retail firm.We’ve shopped here since I can remember. Since this covid a bit of power has gone to employees heads, you can not talk to shoppers this way. You’re only making your company look bad- it’s no skin off our nose.

I used the Argos app last night to look at a Dyson fan £499.99 worth of fan, the app does ask you to check out the newest information, and I guess it's my fault but I didn't realize that it's pick up only, or pay online and collect.. Argos can you please let people know on your app rather than please read in small print.Staff allowed customers to wait but then moved onto the next customer, whilst the first customer was still waiting.The social distance rule became very hard to practice everyone was looking at eachother, looks very much profit over safety.I know that I'm giving the store a hard time but with all that is going on.Why didn't they allow me to pay by card at store? They told me to buy it online, I now have to collect it tonight and I guess I'm going to have to buy more food so I'm not breaking the rules, the fan isn't for myself it's for my mother and she can't get to the store.

Bought a Radley smart watch that is ment to notify of incoming calls and texts however this would not work no matter how many times we tried! When we took the watch back the guy behind the counter told us that we were using it wrong and that he had tried it in the back of the shop and it apparently worked. He told us we were trying to return a used item but refused to understand that yes indeed we had tried it out as this is surely what you do before you establish whether your purchased item is working as it should which in this case it clearly is not! I allowed all permissions on my phone we went into the app settings as well as phone settings and when my other half called or text me the watch DID NOT notify or even register! Yet apparently this guy is calling us liars and expects us to keep an item that does not function as advertised! Poor poor customer service and actually very insulating and patronising! Will not be using Argos again. We would have been prepared to swap it for another variation or even pay a little extra, but we're not even the guy did not even allow us to discuss this as an option! When we tried to call the store to inform them that we had tried for a second time to get the watch to work after being insulted by the staff , the line was too busy to accept our call and advised us to call again later ! Shocking customer care and service!
