I ordered the breakfast. What arrived on my plate was 1 egg (with hairs on it), 2 of the cheapest sausages money could possibly buy. Mush in sausage skin. 1 piece of bacon which had clearly been cooked about an hour earlier, some beans, half a tomato and haggis. £9! The food was not very nice. I left most of it.

Clean enough, tea arrived with no tea bag in the pot. Wait 5 mins for the tea bag delivery lady arrived! The man there was obviously too busy doing nothing elsewhere. Breakfast not great, microwave bacon and everything else very budget.

Friendly service on entry, underwhelming experience overall. Drinks came quick but the food didn't, just to find they had forgotten about it. Typical tourist trap operated by very young staff.

Service not very good. They mixed our order with another table so we ended up waiting a long time for our drinks, in fact the food arrived firstNo apology though! Waitress just ignored us! Not good & food was just ok

Out and about today so thought we would give this a try. Nice enough place but a tourist trap. Had the usual fried egg roll with an additional potato scone. The roll came with one, yes one, fried egg in it plus the tattie scone. Thats having a laugh, £3 pound for the fried egg and £1 for the scone, £4 in total. There has to be better value than that. The place was clean enough and the staff friendly, but £4 for that is not on, sorry.

Clean premises but mediocre food. At least it was cheaper than next door!Bacon sandwiches (fairly standard fare) on dry rolls with measly slices of bacon stretched across the middle.Soup was thin and flavourless, accompanied by another dry bread roll. While the staff were OK, our waitress sort of just dropped everything off on a tray in the middle of the table and left us to it.

It's closed, not longer exists. Instead it's a lovely gift shop

Several weeks ago, my family and I had takeaway from here.I had ordered a simple ham and cheddar sandwich. When it arrived, not only was there no ham, the cheddar was stale and powdery, as well as shredded. In addition, all of the accompaniments such as salad and crips were completely missing from both mine and my families orders. We had to go in and specifically request them, luckily for no additional charge. The pricing was fine but I truly don’t think a shredded cheddar sandwich is worth £7.I am unlikely to return on future passings through Inverness.

Stopped today for a light lunch, we'll priced and we enjoyed our food. Came back again an hour latter for some coffee and cake. Made to feel very welcome both times, staff very friendly.

2 of us for lunch, cafe was empty, ordered a lot of food and plugged in my phone to charge for 5 minutes at the table, (plug sockets everywhere). Was then confronted by a member of staff who told me it was ‘illegal’, ‘take your phone out of our cafe’. I was speechless. I will never be back, horrible rude staff, and the food was beyond mediocre. Typical contempt for tourists (even though we are from Aberdeen!). Avoid.
