The Tanning Shop Oxford Circus

Not sure why all the bad reviews. I have walked in many times (8-10 visits total) and also booked online and not had any trouble. You can buy tanning cream and leave on a shelf for storage, I use mine very slowly and it never seems to go down, although there is potential for another customer to take it in between sessions. There is a selection of beds and stand up. I like room 2 best :) The lady at the front desk is absolutely lovely.

We have a week starting 19th June. Shop opened on time once, which was yesterday. Monday wasn’t opened at 10:15. This morning there were 6 people waiting at 10 mins past opening time. Obviously on their way to work. Started to leave one by one. I’ve left at 9:15 as can’t be wasting time before work either. It is not acceptable at my work place to be late. I think at The Tanning Shop it’s a norm

Probably one of the worst experiences I had in a solarium. Disgusting smell inside of the lay-down cabin they don’t clean properly after you. Definitely I’ll not show up there anymore.

I used to go to the tanning shop in Soho but unfortunately it has closed and I had to come to this one.When I arrived, there were 3 people sitting on a bench, but since i didn't know that they were queuing I went straight to the receptionist to let her know that i have arrived for my appointment. But as soon as I have tried to approach the reception girl, one of the customers started loudly telling me that there is a queue, I have to wait, and accused me of not being polite etc. I have tried to explain myself at first, but that person would just not listen at all but continued to be rude.It was extremely shocking that someone can let themselves to behave this way nowadays, but the most disappointing was the fact that the lady at the reception was also not trying to figure out what is going on, clear the situation out and explain how things work at this place to both of us.In the end, I found out that that customercustomer was waiting for a different sunbed than me. And again, if the Tanning shop personnel would be willing to sort this situation out, all this confusion could be easily avoided.I was very upset and angry at the end, but I had to still tan with them as I had a limited time and couldn't go anywhere else.The sunbed was pretty strong and good, but the base of the sunbed (standing) was very sticky and dirty, so i had to tan in my socks. Also, I have never been offered/ given eye shields.The experience wouldn't be that bad at the end if for the service, cleaning issue, and warm welcome" I have received there.Never again."

Clean and always have space for people who haven’t booked!

Unfortunately the spray tan I received was terrible quality. Its patchy after one day and not evenly applied. Wouldn’t recommend. I’d like a refund.Staff was nice.

I popped in as I was shopping in the area,the lovely assistant called Lois was extremely helpful, patient, and friendly!She made me feel very welcome.The shop was spotless, and the bed was clean and ready straight away!I highly recommend!This is the sunbed shop I'll be using every time I am in London!

I used to go to the soho branch where the woman who ran it was so lovely. I Rushed here after work and got there 11 minutes before closing only to be told abruptly they had already done the receipts and there was nothing they could do.

I visit new open tanning shop I have friendsly and I was really disappointed of the highness of the new open place . As usual I wipe feet point and the handles up way in the sun stay bed and I find charcoal color on wipe … really disgusting and I am sorry to say this but I didn’t expect that from big brand company like tanning shop .
